I think both S:TM and S:II have great qualities about them. But I agree, Superman The Movie is my favorite film thus far.

I hope there is a shot in the trailer where the smoke clears and we see an extremely pissed off/determined looking Superman about to put the hurt on mofos.

I just hope it has that "grand" and "magnificent" vibe that the Comic trailer had.

I wonder if they will show krypton. Really interested to see how they portray it this time around as I assume they will move away from the Donner version. I'm sure we will be seeing one of those jaw dropping moments in the trailer.

I'm interested in this as well. Has the Fortress of Solitude been mentioned at all by Snyder? I really would love to know what their plans are for that.

Yeah I love both movies and they both have a special place in my heart, but man they are not aging well, IMO.

That bottom right frame is what I would like to see. I want the "angry god" where he just loses it and rips some stuff up. But up to that, I want the hyper-realism we've seen in the trailer and CC footage. Where everything looks like it "could really happen". That would make the anger and the physicality that much more intense.

Interesting. Well like Marvin said, the framing and composition in Transformers is pretty well done. It's just the story and acting that fall short for me. I don't think that will be a problem for MOS (Michael Shannon and Amy Adams are 2 of my fav actors). Henry's just the big unknown. Hopefully I'll sigh a big sigh of relief when I see him portray the role in the trailer next week.

That Jim Lee page above is great. I'm sure Snyder's got cut-outs of stuff like that all over his workspace for inspiration ha.

Snyder seems very much into the "awesome visuals" type of dude. He really harped on the idea that Superman needs to be not just "awesome" again but also that he can "tear **** up" if I recall.

He strikes me as the kinda guy that rolls his eyes at the globe catch in returns, he shoots spit balls at the screen when lex has goons slapping superman around...

Looking at snyder's previous fight scenes, I'm expecting something uniquely epic. Throw in that DoP and like the effects supervisor said, it's going to look good.

#GameChange.

The issue arises when WB once more let's admittedly over excited butts down. Maybe it's our own fault.

Inspiration... Maybe even as a storyboard. Knowing the way he works that has a good chance of coming right off the page and into the movie.

Marvel is so quick to release concept art(and ride it), yet not so much with WB/DC.
I suppose green lantern got some.

Haha right on. My excitement for next weeks trailer is reaching critical mass. I really do expect this to be a no-holds-barred trailer though. I think this is the most critical part of the road to release. The success or fail of this trailer will determine the opening box office I think. Followed in importance by the superbowl ad and all the build-up 1-2 weeks before. I think this trailer sets the scene though.

This is definitely where the race starts all before this has been prep. They need to come out the blocks flying with this one. Plus I'm pretty sure the Hobbits gonna be massive so the more people that see an EPIC Man od Steel trailer the better.

Sweet, it's really starting.

Great "smile". And I like the red which is actually more dark magenta.

And yes, this first full trailer sets the bar and I can only imagine Snyder and everybody at WB knows that and has put together a trailer accordingly. It's gonna tear the world a new a**hole.

That was the complaint with the Comic-Con poster as well, as it doesn't show up very much in low lighting.
