This is very exciting. We keep hearing more news everyday. I guess at this point, it is set now as to which characters will appear in the movie. We should hear official cast list soon ! Unless they want to keep this a secret to not kill The Wolverine publicity !

John Myhre is an Oscar winner for Chicago and Memoirs of a Geisha and nominated for Elizabeth, Dreamgirls and Nine. Not bad.
Looks like Robopocalypse has snatched Guy Dyas ![]() |

I believe Dyas and Singer haven't worked together since Superman.

Oscar winner?
that's great. And its interesting how all those movies are period movies. Seems to be a solid reason to hire him, since we have the 60's setting (or 70's, whatever it is, lol) |

Yeah, awesome work on Chicago. Memoirs of a Geisha was a pretty vapid movie but the production design and visuals overall could not be more beautiful.

Its exciting that Bryan Singer is already working with the production designer! Even though I'm not a fan of the possibility of having "mountains" as the headquarters of the Brotherhood again. This is the guy who designed the Cerebro, subbasement of the X-Mansion and the Brotherhood Headquarters in X1 was cool. So this movie might have cool-looking sets!

not exactly what I imagined, but would be cool to see the x-men from the future fighting in the middle of a forest.
I know we already saw wolverine fighting with some brotherhood members on X3, but we havent seen an actual team on a location like that, so.... could look pretty cool, I think and yeah, Avengers had Ironman, Thor and Cap, but Bryan could do a whole differente sequence and events |

Cool! The mountain can be anything .. Alkali Lake? Mastermold base? Brotherhood base? I just wish I could read what it says under "X-Men Days of Future Past" on the bottom right corner..

I'm more interested in the 2 other black boards on the ground right behind him. The one on the very back looks like concept art for a clear (glass?) box.

Just saw the trailer for Oblivion. Would be awesome to see the future X-Men in a dystopian future like the one depicted in that movie. Only with some awesome Sentinel battles.

I'm not even sure if this movie is going to look very futuristic especially if this is set in 10s. I think we will get Sentinels but I'm not sure we will see a lot of destroyed buildings and destroyed cities. I don't think the "future" would look very chaotic.

I hope some of the film is shown in a real street setting, rather than being restricted to remote locations like mountains and the mansion.

I really hope it too. This is a big scale sequel, so we need ALL type of locations, and big sets, specially for the biggest sentinels fight on the future.

Mutants are all probably locked up at prisons and there are probably Sentinels guarding every city in the world, but for humans who doesn't have power, life goes on for them. Streets would look the same and I don't think there would be too much destruction. If there's a mutant showing rebellion to the government by destroying the Golden Gate Bridge or the Statue of Liberty, they would be quickly dispatched by the Sentinels. I think the X-Men are going to the past not to save the world from chaos, but to save their fellow mutants from Sentinels and mutant-hunters. In the comics/cartoon, the streets look so chaotic but for this movie, I don't think there will be a lot of destruction.
