I reckon Lois, he wouldn't say my father to his Mother I don't think.

The only problem with leaks is you often get fake ones, like the prologue for the Dark Knight Rises, how many fake leaks were there for that?! lol

yeah, my 1st impression was Lois, too.

well the trailer hits in less than a week, now. so not too long.

sadly, I won't be able to see the Hobbit opening weekend, so hopefully the trailer hits online soon after so I can finally watch it!!

oh, and right now I'm watching some of the behind-the-scenes featurettes from the Les Miserables film.

I hope in the future we will get similar "making of" featurettes for MOS so we can see how they bring Superman and his world back to life.......

As long as we get heat vision on a level we haven't seen in live action before, I'll be pleased. Burning red eyes would be an added bonus in my opinion. If they did go the "glowing red eyes" route then I agree it should be used very sparingly. Only when Supes is extremely angry should it appear. It could be a great way to convey his anger level to the audience. It should be like " Oh crap, his eyes are glowing again! You've done it now! Better run if you know what's good for you!"

speaking of "leaked description," wasn't there a report a long while back, that said there was a "trailer" that showed young Clark in school levitating a pencil with telekinesis?

was that ever debunked??

I think it did get debunked, infact I'm sure that trailer description was for the teaser but as we saw the teaser hardly showed a thing.

I hope not but if they have and it works then fine. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I've just watched the teasers and the Con trailer again, really cannot wait for the new trailer.

I've watched the last trailer more times than i can count! I can only imagine how many times I'll watch the new trailer when it becomes available. Not since TDK have I been this sick with anticipation. I dare say I'm more excited for this trailer than I was for TDK trailer. And Bats has always been my favorite, so that's saying something!

For some reason I recalled ID4's opening at 106, not 96.

ID4's opening is difficult to judge. It opened on a Tuesday. It's 6 day of 96m inflates to exactly 105m in 1999 dollars.

It's a pity neither film opened a Friday. ID4 opened on a Tuesday, and blew off 45 million dollars before its 'opening weekend, but still dropped 51 million (record at the time was 52). Would have likely done 75ish.

Phantom Menace opened on a Wednesday, and did 65 after blowing off. Would have likely came in around 85 million. # of tickets sold between the two is virtually identical. Both would have seen jaw dropping % increases over the previous record; ID4 would have beaten it by 50%ish. Just an astounding figure.

Zod asking superman do he know his native tongue in kryptonian sound like taunting to me.Zod know he growed up among humans , so he use that to get under superman skin.Zod will piss him off in MOS.Althought I think faora will do the most taunting.

I wonder, if we get at least 3 MOS movies does anyone think Supes will get his own massive statue in Metropolis in the third movie? Bats got his own statue at the end of TDKR.

And in the comics, Supes has his own statue ( I think with like an American eagle or something on his wrists in some instances if I remember correctly). I think it would be a nice touch.
