i do not agree that tdk was a flawless movie. there is no such thing as a flawless movie, even with true classics like your godfathers, casablancas or apocalypse now's. but i agree that nothing should have changed with that ending. it's thematic message is clear and well presented, although there is a touch of melodrama.
