Fortunately for my comparison, we're not discussing Clark's point of view(which would be obviously one dimensional at that point in his young human life). It's the point of view of the Joseph of father of god made flesh, in not so many words. There is a man that might see responsibility over morality. I for one just find that interesting as a thematic point, not that I side with it.

I've always believed that Jonathan, above all, believed in doing the right thing. Clark did the right thing by saving those kids, and I don't think Jonathan Kent, of all people, should criticize him for that.

On Smallville(), this is the same Johnathan that was prepared to kill for his kids secret, or rather, normal happy life.

Well for what it's worth, it was a NTF article that said "All the footage will be new and there will not be any rehashing of the Comic-Con material." Granted, it is NTF, so I guess we will find out in a week.

Hope you're right about some Krypton footage,I'm really excited to see what they're doing with it,and any Zod and other character dialogue would be great.

This trailer description is appearing more and more fake to me the more I think about it. But I honestly wouldn't put it past WB to include a ton of that ccon footage, and keep zod a non focal point.

Partially cause WB is kinda funky that way, and partially because they put such a stranglehold on the ccon footage for all this time. What other possible reason is there for them to keep that footage from the legal public space for 5 months...

I think that whoever has come up with that description did a better, more plausible job than most of these fakes do.

It's almost enough to make me only 90% sure it's not real.

But it just doesn't sound like 2.21 mins worth of footage. Plus i'd be very surprised if:

1. There are no Krypton shots
2. There are no major villain lines/scenes
3. There is that little shown of the military
4. It ends with such a low key scene (I'm expecting it to end with that 'OMG' action moment like The Avengers, TASM and TDKR all did this year.

I think that's been misinterpreted mind as I think they just meant its nit gonna be the Con traier I'm sure a few scenes will probably be the same bd I do believe this supposed description is fake.

Yeah at this point I really don't give two ****s. However, I hope the majority of the trailer is different than the CC footage only because I have seen that trailer so many times, and I want to see something new. I'm greedy like that. We are getting a MOS trailer next week! Do you guys realize we have been waiting for this moment for just about a YEAR AND A HALF since filming began? It's crazy to think it's been that long.

It's just that people are judging what they don't think works in a trailer they haven't seen yet. It's fine to say that you are unsure of how something sounds but some are saying I hope that's not in the trailer.

Joe Letteri (VFX supervisor) said that WETA is handling the early, pre-Superman things and he also mentioned that they are currently in the process of finishing their work on the film. So Im sure there are some jaw dropping shots of Krypton ready for the trailer.

Speaking of VFX, I have a question for anyone here that may be in this field or know more about it. As mentioned, Letteri said that WETA is handling the pre-Superman stuff. But last year he also said that their main priority was to make the flying look realistic. So if they will do that, how come that they aren't working on the Superman stuff? Or will Double Negative and MPC get the ´´code`` or whatever from WETA and use what they've come up with in those scenes?

And since it seems WETA is also handling Krypton, I assume they did all the Kryptonian technology bits. I'd hope that they would handle the mo-cap shots as IMO they are the best in the field in that.

And I hope MPC has more to do than Double Negative. They seem to do great work, Prometheus was done by MPC and WETA.

I know its crazy it seems like just yesterday Snyder was announced as director or Cavill was cast but that was about two years ago.

I wish I thought for a second that the trailer was going to satisfy me.

But the fact is, i'm not gonna have that relief feeling from our waiting until i've seen the damned film.

The trailer is probably just going to make it even harder to wait! For a while after it'll be all I think about. I'll watch it a ridiculous amount of times a day. I'll dream about it. I'll show it to everyone i remotely know.
