That's what's frustrating. The supporting cast (I think) is great, but they don't use them much. I'd like to see them more connected with Dexter, Quinn could've replaced Doakes, the type of character that knows there's something off with Dexter, but they didn't take advantage of that. Laguerta hasn't been that interesting for a couple of season now -I never really liked her- but I like what they're doing with her right now.
Masuka is the comedic relief, nothing wrong with that. But he used to have more screen time earlier in the series, I think.

They never should have killed off Doakes in the first place, he was a good character even when he wasn't going after Dexter

If you don't kill off Doakes what would be done with him after season 2? Have him mysteriously forget/ignore like Quinn?

Yea I noticed that too. But if its true wouldn't something have to happen before she can get the word out, cause I don't see her reporting it in and they start the manhunt for BHB again.

not to sure.. it looks interesting though. I'm curious how she ends up there... I wonder if he set up the room, and went to go get the victim and she had followed him... would be cool if he showed back up with a victim an shes there waiting...

or if she just walks in after he flees.

You know what would make for a great final season. Having Laguerta actually out Dexter as the BHB, so that everyone knows.

Its Dexter's worst fear, and it would cause all of the supporting cast to question whether Dexter's actions were good or bad, not just dexter and deb.

Having Dex on the run would completely turn the show on its head and bring the show back its risky "think outside the box" writing that characterized its early years.

I totally agree in some regards, I feel it's a more of a choice on these boards, like I chose to learn about certain things for the last couple of seasons and also some recent summer movies.

Dexter is kind of dumb... Only a couple people know he is a Moser.... And the corrections facility randomly calls him?

Laguerta tricked him pretty well
