Yeah I didn't buy a copy yet since I'm waiting to buy the Ultimate Trilogy Collection edition. I wish they would release what the extra's for that will be so I know whether I just wait or buy it now.

Below are my Dark Knight Rises Blu Ray purchases from 12/4/12. I was up at 5:00 a.m. and hit 3 walmarts with no luck with the Cowl set. Apparently each store only received 2 to 4 sets and sold out right away. A part of me thinks a few employees stashed them for themselves as you can see what they are going for on Ebay.
I then hit Best buy and picked up the Steel Book Case with the exclusive documentary. Then i hit Target across the street and picked up their exclusive digibook case which is also sweet. Finally i decided to give one more local walmart a call and what do you know......they had 2 in the back on the pallet that they hadn't brought out yet. The electronics manager put 1 on hold for me which was just awesome.

Because i wanted each exclusive in my collection would be why. And i'm going to pick up the basic blu ray, dvd, ultraviolet tomorrow which will be my copy that i crack open and watch. If you didn't notice. Each exclusive for the dark knight rises is different and i'm a collector of Batman which is why i purchased 1 copy of each exclusive. If that makes any sense to anyone here. |

Still on the hunt for a 1:50 Scale version of The Bat, It is the one thing I can't seem to find anywhere in the NY area. I checked a couple of local Walmarts and Forbidden Planet in NYC, series 6 was there with The Bat already gone! Recently Toys R Us doesn't seem to get anything new anymore as well. Any suggestions where else to check? I can't bring myself to pay almost 3 times the cost offline!

Scored some great Bat Goodies today.
Stopped off at my local Wal-Mart and to surprise what did i see freshly stocked on the bottom shelf in the toy aisle..............The Tumbler!!! Looks like Mattel decided to re-release this puppy for the holiday and its a Wal-Mart Exclusive. It also comes packed with the new 5 inch Batman and Bane. Snagged two of these bad boys at $49.97 each. This is the 2005 version the lights and sounds. Glad i waited as i was looking for one on ebay. Wal-mart also had the new 5 inch (non movie master) Batman and Bane 2-packs out. At Target i snagged the new wave of Hot Wheels DC Universe cars. Mr. Freeze, Robin and Batman. The Batman car is the same from the last wave but the card back has been changed. Good stuff today! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Great find ManIntheNarrows, I notice that they finally gave articulation to the arms for Bane instead of the horrid stiff look for the smaller figures, did the five inch figures have the same articulation as well in the two packs?
Thanks a bunch DeathStroke, I am almost positive that the 1/50 bat from Matchbox and Hot Wheels are practically the same mold minus the stand? At least it is cheaper I can snag two for the price of one until I could actually find one in stores. I actually just learned today that they released a Hot Wheels Batpod with Batman that scales perfectly with the 1:50 series, better than the one they had being that it is fairly larger than the tumbler IMO. Another thing to keep on the lookout for lol If anyone could have a wishlist for future stuff, what would it be? I would like to see hot wheels series 7 1:50 do - Camo tumbler with rotating turret - HEMTT Truck - GCPD Police car MM- -Scaled fusion reactor -Re-release the batpod for the figures because it is too dam expensive online -Barsad with rifle -Coatless Bane with vest so we can stop hacking our figures |

Thanks man. Some good finds indeed. And to answer your question, yes the 5 inch figure two packs do have the knee and elbow articulation as the batman and Bane with the tumbler. I'm still on the lookout for the Hot Wheels Motor Cycles Bat pod as well. |

I found x2 of the new Matchbox The Bat at my local Target this morning. Nice piece. Retail was $2.89 each. Its definitely bigger then the regular hot wheels version but the 1:50 The bat is still the biggest. Check out the size comparison pic below.

I'm doing a custom paint job on the one I crack open so it's no biggie for me. The great thing with this version is that it has the front lights, engine light and sounds. Aside from the purple hue, its solid overall. These puppies will all be gone from shelves before Christmas hits so I'm glad I found them when I did. |

If it is a favorite movie to own then it is awesome for collectors to have variants. I got the Target Blu ray book, the bestbuy Steelbk with documentary and the DC Entertainment standard Blu Ray that comes with three figures that look new . Collect on friends ! |

Some people would say figures are meant to be opened and played with or displayed, I would pose the same statement regarding blu-rays tis all....As a movie extra in the 3rd film, one copy is enough for me

This is all I have so far for TDKR goodies. I'm still trying to find The Bat in those Hotwheels packages but no luck. I did find the Batpod last Friday at a Wal-Mart.
