I think you can act better when you look the part too, so it probably could've helped Shannon who said that he hated it and felt Snyder cheated him a bit by saying they'd give him a real suit to wear.

I have no idea where they're going with the Zod-armor, and why it necessarily had to be entirely CGI, because that's what it sounds like it may be. The armor probably wont be as big as the above, but rather something akin to IM, so still somewhat hard to move in, especially if you gotta move fast and look good. And again, the suit might be slightly "intelligent" and possibly conform to the wearer and his movements. They'll probably put a spin on the armor since it's CGI.

If the theory about Zod having a robot army is true, along with his CGI suit being something Iron Monger like; then damn, they sure did take liberties from both brainiac and Lex Luther in terms of what those two villains are known to use against Superman in the comics.lol

What the hell are you talking about? Gollum in The Hobbit is literally the most realistic looking cgi I've ever seen.

The thing about Rise of the Planet of the apes is that we know exactly what apes are supposed to look like so cg doesn't work as well sometimes.

Yeah, there's apparently 3 different stages of his suit or something. I like that he has a different symbol in that pic. It looks like it could be similar to the Red Son symbol or something. At least they weren't stupid enough to go with the 'Z' symbol thus making the Kryptonian alphabet the same as ours ha.

Freeze-framing the CC trailer at the right moments to try and get a good idea of how Zod will look. It appears the face shot of him he is wearing similar attire to Russell Crowe's set photos. The same round shoulder pads. A much higher raised neckline/collar though. Very similar though. Same neo-medieval aesthetic.

One thing I noticed having never pausing that shot of Supes and Zod flying at each other is how beautiful that shot actually looks. I never noticed the detail behind them with the sky and buildings.

Tha's the first thing I noticed. Snyder has a real beuty when it comes to realizing atmosphere and I'm very much looking forward to this.

I'm really hoping they do a Rain shot with Superman either Fighting or just flying through rain, because, Snyder is magnificent. Specially in the Owls of Gahoole that rain sequence is amazing and am hoping for something like that.

I doubt it. it likely wont be attached to any hobbit screenings til friday and they are likely to release it officially thursday, friday, or even as early as wednesday to avoid bootlegs.

I don't wanna see this either. No telekinesis. I don't think a bio-auroa created from prolonged yellow Sun exposure would be that hard to explain either.
There may be room for a quick explanation in MOS 2 or maybe JLA. Maybe Professor Hamilton can be the one to give those lines...

IDK. they are releasing the Pacific Rim trailer beforehand, so they might do the same for MOS.

But then again.... that could be why they don't release it until afterwards.
