Well I'm taking into consideration studios release schedules right now not something from 3 years ago.

Only Paramount so far has done that (with Star Trek). All the others have released their full blown trailers.

I say it's a trailer-teaser or more viral-stuff that eventually reveals the full trailer.

OK, so thats 2 examples out of 20 lol, hardly a ´´every studio`` case. Has WB ever done it? Not with TDK trilogy I think.

These are the only two Trailer Teasers I've ever seen. They were only 17 seconds long.

We're talking about "mini-trailers" which are truncated versions of the full trailers that are bound to be released just a few days later. Yes there's a difference.

The Avengers had a couple of them. Like the 1 minute Superbowl "spot" and then the actual Superbowl trailer.

they did a trailer build up with tdkr and that about a day in length like this.


imo, i dont see what else it could be. we're so close to it hitting theaters, it seems very unlikely its something else.

Yeah sorry I meant teaser of the trailer. It was like 20 secs and it was unlocked by facebook likes or something.

It was very medieval look with in a dark wood and rock castle where the battle was being fought... with practice swords. All at once I'm immersed into the filming and I'm actually there. I realize there are no cameras. And Kal-El is fighting next to his father. The conflict was real and so was the fighting but the weapons were not.

The battle ran all over the place and I was trying to keep up but I was too slow. I see other fans running along with me until we finally lose it. The other fans were all from here, Superherohype. My dream went even more left field after that but it had nothing to do with MOS so I'll stop there.

it would be an interesting twist if (young) Clark himself was into that as a hobby. maybe have some equipment setup in the barn.

I could live with that. He might even somehow be searching for Krypton or other kryptonians as a passion in his early years. Or even a life-long mission continuing to search the skies.

it would make sense......to wonder if there are others like you (Kryptonian or otherwise).

and then Clark gets his wish, sort of, when he meets Zod, Faora, and co.

and maybe in future films, he will reunite with Kara........if she even exists in the MOS universe (I hope so).

After watching the Star Trek teaser I can say I wouldn't mind something like that being unlocked. I want a better sense of what the true tone of this movie is going to be, and a teaser may be helpful.

That would be awesome. The only thing that could make that better would be to have Kryptonian subtitles that slowly phase into English subtitles.

I have them all the time. I once dreamt I had forgotten that it had opened, and when I wanted to get tickets, for some reason I couldn't, they were sold out or something.
