Avengers, Watchmen or TDK, I'd say. But neither of them are near a 10. My respect for someone's opinion kind of drops when they throw 9s and 10s at films like that, a 9 is really good film and a 10 is a masterpiece.
And btw., do you include SM3 in that 7-8.5 range? |

Pretty close between The Dark Knight, Avengers and Spidey 2 for me. Those are 9s and 10s in my book. Ill give the edge to Dark Knight though.

You say "...10 is a masterpiece" but keep in mind, what's a masterpiece to one person isn't necessarily a masterpiece to the next. |

And FYI, I do try to be conservative with my scores, and use up the whole scale. Of course, I can only compare them to the other movies I've seen, and I have seen embarrassingly few "classics". IF we're doing this rating business, this is how I rank the ones that I've seen... The Dark Knight - 9/10 The Avengers - 8.5/10 Iron Man - 8.5/10 Batman Begins - 8/10 Spider-Man 2 - 7.5/10 The Dark Knight Rises - 7.5/10 Captain America - 7/10 Thor - 6.5/10 X-Men First Class - 6.5/10 The Amazing Spider-Man - 6/10 Iron Man 2 - 6/10 Spider-Man - 6/10 The Incredible Hulk - 5.5/10 Watchmen - 5.5/10 X-Men 2 - 5/10 Spider-Man 3 - 4/10 X-Men - 3.5/10 Ghost Rider - 3/10 X-Men 3 - 2/10 X-Men Origins: Wolverine - 2/10 Last edited by CoolCadaver49; 12-12-2012 at 10:27 PM. |

I would like to comment that the lack of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin angers me.

Well, it's okay I guess. I hated it at first, but grew to like it on repeat viewings. The action was pretty good.
Actually, on second thought.. nah. It's an okay movie, but really doesn't belong on my top.. anything list, so I retract it.

I loved The Rocketeer! It's an awesome movie. For some reason when I think of Comic Book Films it never pops into my brain, but definitely worth a mention!

I voted Avengers, but I was hard pressed to choose between that and Dredd. As a ranking it would go
Avengers Dredd X-Men: First Class The Dark Knight Rises/The Dark Knight (I think TDKR was a better representation of the character but had far more stupid moments than the TDK, which had better writing on a technical level, So I rank them equally as they each fulfill certain criteria for me) The Amazing Spider-Man Batman Returns

Lol, she looks the same as she did when she was 12, imo. I have no clue why everybody goes crazy over her. Also, @ Spider-Aziz, would you recommend the Rocketeer? |

The Dark Knight wins out for me, X2, The Avengers, Watchmen DC, Spiderman 2 and to a lesser extent TDKR all come close, but TDK is still tops for me.
