Possibility of a new Gambit?
What do you guys think? I would really like to see a proper version of him on film.

His appearance in XOW seemed proper to me and he saved that movie! It would be cool if he appears on X-Men 4.

I hate recasts.
so Id vote no too. Taylor was fine. Just give him a more comic like look and some acent and would be a good adaptation.

Yeah Taylor Kitsch was good for the role.
Maybe in a few years, when he's older they could bring him back in X4. He and Anna Paquin would look like a cute couple in the movie!

Kitsch was cool, problem was they stuck Gambit in the wrong time period and dint have him doing much. Thought the casting was solid actually. All the FNL cast are excellent imo. IF they made them all X Men at some point Id be all for it.

Yes, the Friday Night Light had a really good cast. I wouldn't mind if they cast Connie Britton as the older version of Emma Frost, Kyle Chandler as Mr. Sinister, Scott Porter as the younger version of Cyclops and Minka Kelly as Polaris or the younger version of Jean Grey.

I like Kitsch and if Gambit were to turn up then I'd like for it to be him. Though if I were to entertain recasting then maybe someone like Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister in Game of Thrones) would be a good alternative. However that might just be the same kind of fanboy typecasting that had people asking for Josh Holloway for Gambit years ago.

Yeah, Lannister and Sawyer are both great choices for an older Gambit. I see nothing wrong with typecasting as long as they are good actors.

What about Annie Ilonzeh as a younger Storm? She was in Arrow and the recent Charlie's Angels series? At 29, is she too old?

I'd like to see Gambit in at least the alternative future. There should only be a few mutants lefts an he'd be good as the lone ranger type surviving on his own.

I think Taylor Kitsch did ok for what he had to work with but the character was completely unnecessary for that movie. I would like to see a new actor take on teh role for the future scenes since he would have to be alot older.

Taylor was good and he's very handsome. But having 2 flops this year and also portrayed a character in the forgettable X-men origins movie, I doubt he would be back !

No to recasting! He looked the part, he's a fine actor, they just need to give him some cool stuff to do is all. But yknow, we can't have EVERY character come back... he would be one I wouldn't mind, done RIGHT.
