I'm interested John Myhre is returning to the X-Men franchise (he did a terrific job on the first X-Men). Usually he does a different movie every time, he doesn't do sequels to movies he's worked on before.

Singer must've lured him back. Hope it has a helluva script.

I thought her acting was one of the weakest link in First Class.

I want January Jones to be back for the sake of continuity. And Magneto recruited Emma Frost at the end of First Class so Emma Frost has to be in DOFP.

For continuity and connectivity, she needs to come back. Let's hope for better writing and acting under Singer's supervision.

January Jones signed 3 film deal.If you look at past films they only recasted small parts Inless they needed a younger version.If Emma Is In DOFP January Is playing her.

I personally think Matthew didnt care too much about the character.

A director who really loves Emma Frost from the comics would have done a much better work with January, Im 100% sure about it.

In my opinion, Mystique wasn't great in X1 but in X2, she improved so much. Hopefully that will be the case for Emma Frost too.

Wouldn't it be weird that Cyclops returns for Days of Future Past and how are they going to explain the brothers relationship between Havok and Cyclops?

Isn't Scott Summers the older brother? Alex Summers is supposed to be the younger brother.

I know, it's weird. However, I'm sure they alluded in interviews for First Class that they had plans or that there were ways around that. Though even if that's true, no matter what the explanation, it will be more convoluted than it ever needed to be because of First Class.

And this is another reason why I don't want James Marsden to appear as Cyclops in DOFP. If they are really going to make Havok, Cyclops' older brother, they should save it for another movie. If they included this Brother thing in DOFP, it would just build confusion and I don't think they could get away with it very well.

Havok is the elder brother in the Ultimate X-Men. I didn't like that Havok appeared first before Cyclops met Xavier, but as long as they are brothers I don't mind which is the elder of the two.

cant watch the video, maybe the link is wrong

but if thats the video that was posted some weeks ago, I think most of us agreed that he just was speaking taking into account his contract and that he met Singer during FC shooting.

So that's why we should wait for official confirmation from any of the producers or Singer himself

at least that's how I see it

It would be nice to see Kelsey Grammar return as the elder Beast, but his return isn't necessary.

I would add Storm to that list.
