Quite simply, I don't like Evans in the role, but that's just my opinion.

Also, realize this TRUE HERO was 26 or 27 years old when this picture was taken, and he looks older and more mature than Evans did at 30 for TFA

Lol, not everybody can look like that guy, wow. But Evans is great for the film version of cap. To me he's pretty much perfect.

So you're complaining that Evans doesn't have an enormous square jaw, but then you suggest that Hemsworth would have been a better choice despite the fact that Hemsworth doesn't have an enormous square jaw. Alrighty then.

Anyway, I agree with Hawkingbird. Marvel has done a pretty good job with casting so far.

Haha yeah, that was pretty silly. Even though it's more dumbed down, I think he could've just had Hawkeye blow up some kind of core computer/power running everything to do basically the same thing.

But it got us a nice moment in the commentary.

It's one of the better ones; definitely a nice bonus in addition to the rest of the features. Whedon gives you a really good glimpse into his sensibilities as a filmmaker and comic book geek, so I thought it was pretty entertaining. Plenty of laughs, too.

it's a very 90's design mentality

Add a star to the back and fix the cowl on the Avengers costume, and it's perfect
The render above does have a pretty good looking cowl tho, I'll totally give it that

They need to get rid of those ridiculous zippers on the legs from his suit in the Avengers. Absolutely zero purpose for them, they were gaudy and distracting IMO.

yeah, I don't know what the attraction is with all those zippers on Cap and all the X-Men uniforms.

But as far as Cap goes, other than some sort of star on the back, I really think he's fine as-is. I hope Cap is like Spidey in which he'll pretty much have the same suit in all the movies. Leave the "upgrading" costume every 30 minutes to Iron Man.
