It always gets me that people assume celebrities are dead. I always assume they're alive.

Eh. I think it's just the instinctual assumption I make when I know a celebrity must be a certain age and I haven't seen anything about them in awhile.

Take Twilight Zone, for example. Aside from Shatner, Billy Mumy and Robert Redford, I've basically assumed that everyone on the show is dead now.

I usually assume they're dead too. Except for Ed McMahon. I honestly thought he was he still alive.

Me and my cousin both trout he was still alive until we saw his video that mentioned he was dead and we had the same reaction.

I watched Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai' the other night for the first time and got bummed when I wiki'ed the actors afterwards and found out they were all long dead. Their performances really stuck with me, so I sad faced.

Most people spit out a sexual term when they have a Freudian slip, but apparently Ed McMahon makes you hungry for fish.

Oddly enough, Jack Klugman played Oscar in the TV version of The Odd Couple, while Jack Lemmon played Felix in the movies. Then, in the original 12 Angry Men, Klugman played Juror #5, while Lemmon played Juror #8 in the '97 remake.

Reminds me of the Bill Murray-Lorenzo Music connection. Bill played Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters first and then Lorenzo played the cartoon version. Then Lorenzo played Garfield first and Bill played him in those (pretty bad) movies much later.

He was a terrific actor who I'm used to seeing play small roles. I just learned he was a WW2 veteran.

All-Time GREAT Western character actor HARRY CAREY Jr Dies at age 91.
Harry was a favorite of mine along with his pal Ben Johnson.
Both guys brighten up many John Ford/John Wayne movies.

REST IN PEACE!

Loved the guy too. Both him and Ben were a last of a breed. I was lucky enough to get Harry's autobiography signed by him about 10 years ago. The old cowboys are going away.

Rest in Peace Harry

I recently saw the "making of" featurette in the blu-ray, and they interviewed the actor playing Kyuzo. It is so strange seeing that guy walk around in his Happy Days street clothes, it just totally messes with your mind.
