Arguing whether or not Snyder is "hit or miss" is silly anyway, unless you're talking about profits made from his films -in which case all of the major films he's directed have been "hits". Beyond that it's just one individual opinion versus another.

Not a fan of Snyder either. Maybe MOS can change my opinion of him.

He hasn't had a movie break even in theaters since 300, and Dawn of the Dead only did good relative to its budget. Unless your definition of "major film" is "300", he certainly hasn't achieved a hit with every major film of his.

I'm not a DC person, never seen ANY DC film. Part of it is because I'm so dedicated to Marvel, it would feel like I was cheating on my partner

It's absolutely nothing like that. I always found this mentality ridiculous. If it's good (or at least looks entertaining), who cares who made what.

As a fan of both parties, I'd say you're missing out on some good movies. Not, ya know, a lot...but some, lol.

She's missing out on such memorable classics such as Catwoman, Superman Returns, and Green Lantern.

Saw Superman Returns again recently, it's quite good
And Green Lantern isn't so bad, it's rather average

Only Catwoman in film is in Batman Returns, TDKR has Selina Kyle with a cat mask, no name
And there's no film with her name

About what?
The Catwoman movie? The faster it's forgotten and erased from all memories the better

Serious about everything else

I didn't find SR bad, but I think the perfect word for SR is underwhelming.

And I'll hold my tongue on GL.

Yeah, GL seems to be the DC equivalent of Wolverine Origins.

Out of the list, only 2 interest me enough to see in theatres. MOS and IM3.

That's conjecture, not fact. Many comic fans consider Watchmen to be one of the greatest adaptations ever created.

The actual evidence speaks otherwise: mediocre RT and metacritic ratings, and a theatrical gross that didn't even cover its production costs.

I loved Watchmen, and as far as I've heard, I haven't read the comics, 300 has gotten major praise for being accurate to the source material. Calling Sucker Punch a "pornrape fantasy" is just a major shout of ignorance.

Watchmen has decent scores, and gross is not representative of quality.

I really don't mind if some people don't get Snyder or appreciate his work. I absolutely love the worlds he creates, the visuals he paints and the way he respects material and characters.

I am hoping that MOS will do for him what The Avengers did for Joss Whedon though.

^Same here, Sucker Punch was his worst movie yet but it wasnt exactly terrible, 300, DOTD and Watchmen were all great, and MOS looks superb, cant wait to see it.
