I really liked this show as a kid,and I'm really looking forward to picking this baby up.

yes, they make them on demand... one of the sad things about this series since they werent created by WB nor were they made as pristine as other TV shows, however, Sam Rizzo of the Superboy Homepage received his copy either today or yesterday, and assures us that the audio and video are of excellent quality...

It's sad to see that we can't get a proper release of the rest of the Superboy series and yet there is an abundance of DVD garbage releases of crap like Jersey Shore, Real Housewives, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

I know it sucks season 2 was a massive step up from season 1 and features some of my favourite episodes, seasons 3 and 4 were even better. I just hope they end releasing all four seasons eventually.

That's great news, I'm sure eventually they'll release them properly. Here's hoping for a complete box set, it's just a shame we won't get any extras. I'd love to get a decent length documentary on the show with Gerard Christopher talking about it.

I just finished going through Season 2,and I was wondering why didn't they call gilbert gottfried"s character "Toyman" instead of "Nick Knack",as the character clearly seems to be a variation on the Toyman character.Was there some kind of rights issue?


Sherman Howard goes down as the most insane Luthor of all time! (He'd have made a heck of a Joker back then!)

I always found the choice of actor for Metallo an interesting one.It's like he was the Jackie Gleason of villians.

Yeah I agree on Mettallo, you know one thing I love how well they nailed his creation it was straight out of the comics. Infact I think Superboy was very close to the comic and they got Bizzaro spot on. I wish the show had gotten one more season, it's one of the forgotten greats in terms if superhero shows.

It arrived today whoop!

I have to say its great to see these episodes in good condition, I had sone copies if the entire series ad they were bad VHS quality. Watching the first two episodes right now, can't wait for the final two seasons to be released.
