It really does speak of society's idolization of celebrities, and our willingness to tear these same idols down, than it does of the celebrities photographed. They're just people, albeit very famous people who have a lot of pressure to be perfect at all times. Especially for a relatively private celebrity like Anne, it's just easier to go with the flow and not be a rebel, because that only calls more attention to you.

Oh yeah that element of jealous spite is certainly in there as well, but remember the Janet Jackson nipslip outrage? The idea of even a glimpse of nudity still seems to cause such drama when it comes to these situations.

The hilarious thing was that I was in a room full of college guys watching that, and I was the first/only person to point out the nip slip! Then another guy said, "I'm sure she was wearing something underneath" and that was literally the end of that.

I think the worst pic i've seen of Anne's Catwoman (stills , promo material , unofficial photos) was actually the first one they released. Its like they intended to show the worst one.

The one on the right was their costume plan for Selina at the bar scene (although I think they swapped the thigh high boots with pumps) but I'm trying to guess what scene the one on the left was for. Any guesses?
