^^^^ Yeah, I like "alternative" choices. For example... Jeremy Irons. All these generic deep voice guys all sound the same.

Does it really matter when Darkseid's supposed to be 8-9 feet anyways.

Haysbert has become a little pudgy in the face though, so that's not gonna mix well with make-up/prosthetics. Unless they're going CGI.

Yeah, voice actors can look nothing like the character they are speaking for.

My 2nd choice voice for Darkseid is a dwarf for example.

Exactly. It's all about talent and how you combine it, because someone like Darkseid will most likely be a combination of the best tricks possible. Actor/body-actor, voice-actor, CGI-crew and possibly animatronics. I dont think it'll just be one guy in a suit and that's it.

I say just get the tall guy that played the in the alien vs. predator movies and game of thrones Ian Whyte, if you want to go practical effects and just just do a voice-over obviously with someone that has a deep voice. Or they could use post-production sound effects and re-dub Ian's voice with a sound/effects mixer.

Fusion of all of the live action Superman actors, excluding Kirk Alyn. It's not as polished as the Batman one, but it's the best I can do.

Also, it looks better if you squint or zoom out.

Did you know that Jeff East wore a prosthetic nose in the first Superman film to better resemble Reeve (Reeve's nose was naturally more straight and narrow)? The blonde haired East also wore a wig and later had his voice dubbed over with Reeve's during post-production. Supposedly, the latter was something that Reeve insisted upon, and East wasn't particularly happy that his own voice wasn't used.

Heck I wouldn't want my voice dubbed over either. That's somewhat stupid IMO. Also, if they went through all that trouble to change how East looked then then should have just gotten some other actor seeing as how he was playing a young Clark anyway.

You can hear his voice on YouTube... he doesn't sound too different from Reeve's dubs anyway.

Reeve was also the Helicopter Pilot for some reason... knocked it out of the park.
