Somerhalder is 5'9"! And has hardly shown anything to suggest he's right to star in a potentially billion dollar movie!

You pan Jake Gyllenhaal in the same page that you suggest Alan Ritchson in? WOW!

And Derek Luke is like 38! Shouldn't Cyborg be in high school or something?

Shawn Roberts? What's GL gonna do in that movie? Fight zombies? Reynolds is a much better actor than what we saw in the GL movie... just watch Safe House!

As much as I don't like Lauren Cohan for WW I would pick her over Teresa Palmer any day.

Safe house was a good action movie with no more than 2 seconds of RR in any given scene. 1 liner - stuff blows up - Ryan looking scared - Stuff blows - Ryan looks angry - stuff blows up. And if your argument against roberts being gl is that he can only fight zombies? Then in that same aspect Reynolds could only be rookie CIA agent or whatever he was. And yes derek luke is 38 But he certainly could pull off a college student which most would agree would be an acceptable change to the cyborg storyline. I believe that if Alan Ritchson can act which i will admit i am not sure of completely he is visually a much better fit for flash. And whos to say gyllenhaal could pull off that character i certainly dont think he could. You discredit other peoples suggestions when they dont look the part and then when you believe they couldnt act the part all im saing is that based on looks alone my lineup would make a much more believable JL than yours. But i understand .... this is aparently the anarchy forum

Discredit is a very strong word. I disagreed with your picks and I have my reasons that I have stated. If you don't like my reasons, that's up to you. Defending your picks through an half-assed attack on my picks is uncalled for!

I'm open to many other picks apart from the ones on my signature. Unfortunately most of your picks wouldn't make it to my shortlists because of the reasons I've stated.

If you can't take kindly to an opinion different from yours, maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself.

gemma is my top choice because she is a very realistic choice and imo fits henry cavill mold of casting

she is a very solid young upcoming actress who is just waiting for that breakout and has balanced indie films like Disappearance Of Alice Creed,Tamara Drewe,Byzantium,Song For Marion

but also has done big action Hollywood blockbusters like 007:Quantum Of Solace,Clash Of The Titans,Prince Of Persia and even that hansel and gretel film coming up

she can do drama,comedy,action and very young at 26 so she is very desirable to studios

Why is it all the suggestions for WW are brunettes. i mean i believe Teresa Palmer with dark hair looks alot like WW. The thing is your actors can act but dont look the part. you cant say my choices dont look the part so i am 1 up. and it is possible they could give fantastic acting performances. i mean isnt that what this is about. Do you really believe based on everything you know about superhero movies your picks are possible. i mean if its fan casting then why dismiss gosling as flash or pine as GL who are clearly the best choices. So either we are casting for something that is a true possibility or fan casting either way i would say your list falls short of both criteria. Also why was my atack half assed but you saying things with even less weight about my choices not.

So basically, you wouldn't ever pick Heath Ledger for Joker or Michael Caine for Alfred, would you?

So, if its looking the character you are concerned with, Teresa Palmer does not look like Wonder Woman... she is short (for WW), has the wrong body type and Taylor Cole looks more like Wonder Woman than Palmer ever will!

Henry Cavill of course.
Armie Hammer-I think if he has to get a role in JLA, I mean IF he has to, it should be Superman! Definitely not Batman!

Batman
Karl Urban for a middle aged Batman.
Joel Edgarton is another guy who I can see in the role.
Josh Harnett too if you're going younger.

Wonder Woman
Lauren Cohan- She is very good in TWD and deserves a proper platform for a Hollywood shift.
Rachel Nichols- She has the height and the acting ability.
Emily Blunt- She is a very interesting pick. She is a very good actress and has a grasp of action from what I could see in Looper. She doesn't have the classic look though.
Gemma Artherton- Get a tan and we'll talk!
Gina Carano- I wanna see how she acts in her forthcoming projects before writing her off completely!

The Flash
Jake Gyllenhaal- He is a good actor who has that tendency to keep things light. Dunno how else to explain it!
Chris Pine- If he wasn't as busy, he'd have been ideal!
Ryan Gosling- I dunno if he'd consider Flash to be a second line hero, if he ever does a superhero in the first place!
Ryan Phillippe- He may be a bit on the shorter side but I liked him in whatever I have seen him in. He definitely can pull it off.

Green Lantern
Ryan Reynolds- As I said before, different strokes for different folks. Ryan as GL worked for me.
Logan Marshall Green- He is my top choice if they wanna replace Ryan.
Jensen Ackles- He's there too, I guess.

That was to emphasize the fact that its about the only thing Shawn Roberts has done on screen. Its even on his Wikipedia page. You should check that out!

I agree with a lot of this. I'd also add Timberlake to The Flash candidates. Going to post my revised and final cat soon. Amber is currently my to choice for Diana

Most of these aren't my first choices. But if a selection of your choices were revealed to be the final cast, I would think this cast would be perfectly serviceable, and I would actually enjoy looking forward to a trailer.
