How many of those come backs would be necessary if not for his 18 interceptions? Is that what the ROTY award should be for? To reward someone for cleaning up their mess?

Except Luck cleaned up his own mess, and got the Colts wins. That's all that matters in the minds of the voters. They won't care that Luck as 18 picks when players like Manning had way more.

If it leads to wins than why not? Isn't a huge part of being a rookie learning from your mistakes and fixing them?

In any case, both RGIII and Luck have had stellar rookie seasons, taking the two worst teams from last year into playoff contention.

I see that.

Dude, your Dirty Birds better step it up and win at least one playoff game. Y'all representing the NFC South.

no **** man... if they play anything like this, prepare for disappointment.

playing this bad, and having a good bit of time off... doesn't sound good to me.

I've seen the Falcons do a lot of good things, but not any great things. I'm not too excited for the playoffs, but I remain optimistic.

Can't say that I entirely mind, being a Pittsburgh fan, but the refs are certainly going out of their way to give this game to Pittsburgh.

Sanchez remind me of Romo...deep down inside you just know they are going to mess-up (and i'm being polite) a play.

And the Wrath of Khan has begun in Jacksonville:

I would think that they would fire Mike "He's full of" Mularkey if a new GM comes in.

To me, it's no consolation. There's no excuse for the way they played the 2 weeks prior.

The consolation is at least they aren't the Jets.

The Bears sweep the Lions. If I remember correctly, The Incredible Hulk and I had a little wager (http://forums.superherohype.com/show...5#post24237625) about the fate of the Bears/Lions this season.

So, how many NFL teams will "interview" Tony Dungy this offseason before they hire a coach who actually wants to coach in the NFL?

a big congratulations to the Falcons for leaving their starters in long enough to have one of their star players injured.

I guess.

The Jets may be a joke, but at least have a chance to get a decent draft pick. Knowing them they'll take a bust, though.
