Some of that stuff is just reaching, or just trying to over-explain stuff. Pokémon's world takes Final Fantasy's magical science fiction a step further. Pokémon is a technomagic setting.

Which version will you guys be getting? The same color as the last one or a different one?

I looked at the version exclusive Pokemon and I'm wondering if it's incomplete. It doesn't make much sense to me that Black 2 has the Garchomp line but White 2 doesn't have anything exclusive to match it.

I'm sticking with the same. Based on the cover art, you'll be able to get the other type of legendary in the sequel (I forget their names). Black gave me the fire/flying type, and it looks like Black 2 will give me the electric.

Are you picking different starters in B2/W2? I went with Snivy in Black, and will probably pick Oshawott in White 2. Oshawott is hideous, but Dewott and Samurott are pretty cool looking. They're the first non-reptilian/amphibian/draconic water types I like.

I read on TVTropes that Kangaskhan was intended to be the Stage 2 evolution of Cubone in the test versions of Red and Green.

It sucks that I have no friends locally who have these games, so that means I have to buy 2 copies of the latest game just to get to play Challenge Mode from the very beginning

Yeah some of his pics were posted in the awesome pics thread, there was a dragonite evolution he did, legendary birds, mewtwo.

I think it will eventually happen. I'm also wanting to see the franchise make the jump onto to the 3DS.

It's so nice that they've made the competitive side easier and less of a chore, but it would be even better if the next series would have a difficulty level right from the start (like an option to play as a Beginner or Veteran) without the need for trading, etc.

yay, just got Black 2....Up to this point I have been left behind in Gen 5, last time i played platinum was a few years back. Can't wait to beat the game and begin transferring my armies of pokemon from Platinum! lol

any one else have black 2 or white 2? Seems like there is a a lot of trading and friend code encouragement in the game system. I'm thinking about maybe purchasing another copy of the game, maybe white 2 but not sure yet. ehhh
