Yup, I could only watch about 30 mins of the last resident evil flick the other night. I did like a few of his movies though.

It's more about how much his style annoys me than how much his movies bore me. They do bore me, but it's his style that I really can't stand.

My best friend is a big Tarantino fan, so I do get some enjoyment out of taking shots at his movies all the time. Have to find some entertainment out of it

I always feel like he's somehow condescending me when I watch his movies. It just feels like hipster tripe at this point. Moonrise Kingdom will be the last Wes Anderson movie I see. Everything about his movies, from the story to that vintagey/retro aesthetic annoys me. Pass.

I didn't even see MK. The only film of his I moderately enjoyed was Fantastic Mr Fox and that was mostly due to the puppet work, the voices and Roal Dahl story.
Judging from some posts, I guess maybe the unpopular opinion is to like him

Well to put it in perspective, I loved MK (saw it twice), but I get Anderson as an "acquired taste." I saw Rushmore and Tenenbaums and didn't "get" either of them. I just shrugged and moved on, barely remembering either of them. I liked Mr. Fox, though.

I really like Hot Shots Part Deux. I think Charlie Sheen is a great underrated comedic actor. I also enjoy his work in the scary movie films.

For me it's Darren Aronofsky's movies. They bore the living crap outta me. I can't even finish them. I've tried to watch 3 different ones and with each film I wasn't able to make it more than 30 minutes into it before I shut them off to go do something more interesting.....like cleaning the grout in my bathroom.

I was very happy when he got off the Wolverine movie project. I think it'd been Ang Lee's Hulk all over again. Some director's sensibilities just don't work with the genre.

And Terrence Malick is another one who bores me to death, though I don't think with him that's unpopular at all.

You know, I've never seen a Wes Anderson film. Typically if they can't get me in by the premise or an interesting trailer then I'm not going to waste my time watching your movie.

I kind of feel the same about Aronofsky, though I really haven't seen many of his movies. I've watched a tiny bit of the Wrestler, but I can't sit through more than that, and I HATE Black Swan with a passion. Those are the only two movies of his I've had experience with, though.

I actually like Malick. I think Thin Red Line is great, and I really like Tree of Life. A big part of that is the visuals, which are just unbelievable. However, I absolutely 100% understand why his movies aren't for everyone.

I actually managed to sit through the entirety of The Thin Red Line when I saw it in theaters with my dad back in the 90's. We both agreed afterward that it was as if National Geographic had hired a philosophy professor to make a WWII film. Then we went and saw Saving Private Ryan again for the umpteenth time to recuperate.
