I think it's safe to assume that Superman, Batman, WW, a Flash and a GL are going to be in it.

So, Creative Execs are giving inputs now, it's Green Lantern all over again, too much interference from the studios.

Business as usual it would seem at the WB offices.

I think he means they will leave it to the director to decide what is gonna be the final roster for the League, but as of right now, the only person who has any kind of say is a CE.

I'd be all for Bale returning, if he wants to do it. I don't think he does, but yeah, I agree it would be easy to pull off if it's set after TDKR. The only problem there is that Bruce Wayne is also believed to be dead and it might be difficult to continue the story of Batman with him using a new identity and all that. Not impossible, though.

To be fair it's ridiculous he wouldn't get recognised anyway.

Heh, yeah. Even though Bruce became a recluse, he still was a well-known billionaire. Someone would recognize him, but hey, it's the movies.

I'm sure Bruce would just say "I get that all the time."
Every movie has studio input. They pay for the things. The fact they're switching around members is odd. But I'm sure they know there will be Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and some form of Batman and Green Lantern. The other two they're just probably toying around with to see who they could get another movie or something out of. But ya never know.

They would need to address Selina too if they bring back Nolan's Bruce Wayne. Not that it's hard to do anyway. Regardless, if the rumors that WB is pursuing JGL is true then that to me means that Bale returning is already not an option since I would think that they would most likely ask him first.

Me too.
I'm not sure if he means the casting/director ideas or the story ideas... but either way, it's a bad sign.

Look, I cant see them doing Martian-Manhunter, certainly not Hawkman; however, I think Aquaman will make the cut. I think it will start off with six...and I'm basing my opinions on the Latino Review article some time ago. MM & HM may come in the sequel. I think the problem they are facing right now, solidly has to do with Bats & GL...what version and/or what character and cast. That's the hold up. I certainly believe they have an idea of what approach to take with the story...however, they seem to be unsure what Bats & GL would best fit.

I'm still banking on this getting delayed or not being made at all, again.

It would be for the best. Until they actually have a strong spearhead (Kevin Feige type) that can get everything in order and under a concise path that would benefit the DC movie world and not have it crumble under a flimsy attempt at making a quick buck then it would be best for this project to go back under deep slumber.

Yeah, 1st time out needs to be a winner. This is what people will associate with the name JL and if 1st time fails, the success of a reboot will be limited no matter how right they get it. I'm stil hopeful though

That would likely be sarcasm. Literally no one would think that seriously. "That Captain America guy, he's from Spain right?"
