Not particularly. I never really saw Cobie til Avengers. I loved her as Agent Hill. I'm sure she'd do an okay job, but there's a reason she plays a lot of 'serious face' parts, and I'd want a bit more emotional diversity out of Diana.

I've deleted some of the crazy (looks at Kingmadness) from this last page and will just put the shenanigans down to hitting the sauce for new years.

And with Captain America off the table, I'm hoping Haley'll be dropped into the potentials

Well, she is available again, huh.
She and Blunt can blow the competition away based on the fact they are probably head and shoulders ahead of the other candidates in terms of acting ability!

Definietly
And I was thinking. We've all thrwn around the possibility of a Wonder Woman movie concerning a potential WWIII setting. It could be based loosely on real life issues...imagine the Baroness Von Gunther ![]() Being based on her and her political issues that could kick of another war? President Fernandez ![]() Say this President Von Gunther has issues with America...and her and WW eventually battle it out

I think villains like Gunther should be relegated to the TV Series if anything. I don't see how the GA would find that exciting enough for a feature film?
Now a woman from an unknown island fighting the God of War... that's a different creature altogether!

Perhaps. But if it were up to me, I would have Ares somehow be involved in her actions to start a war. Wonder Woman doing all she could to stop the war from happening.

I like Ares orchestrating it from the background. Yeah, maybe it can work... hmm. Also saves someone like the Cheetah for the sequel. Maybe they can build on the character of Barbara Minerva in the first film and send her off to Africa or something later on to foreshadow Cheetah.

Without watching too much of the show, it seems as though a lot of her funny is because she's a serious character. She seems to play the 'straight man' role in comedy bits I've seen.

A lot of WW villains are people in the Nazi army, so they can easily be adapted into a modern world and be grounded. Additionally WW can also have the gods pulling strings in the background.
WW enemies aren't a problem, she unlike say the Flash, has a rich canvas of villains to choose from. The problem is WW herself. We need to figure out this girls personality, motivations, etc. One guy said adventurer and I agree with that, but we need to flesh out Diana Prince to the point where we know exactly what she would be doing if she didn't have her powers.

I don't see anything special about Smoulders as an actress. She's not special on her show or The Avengers.

Hayley Atwell is wonderful in a new television miniseries, Restless, in which she plays a WWII spy. Sort of Diana Prince powerless-era. (I'm not saying WW should be powerless, of course.)

I think that the actress who plays Wonder Woman should be pretty but I don't want looks to be the sole focus. WB has gotten super talented actresses to play Catwoman and Lois Lane, I hope they follow that example when casting Wonder Woman. I do want a 5,7 and over actress to play the character and I want her to be pretty and have a good semi muscular body (no stick figures allowed) but most all I want a real actress who can create a real character along with what is on the page. No more Elektra or Halle Berry ********, make a real movie.
