I almost posted this in the plot thread but thought it might be more appreciated here.

It seems there is a bit of a recurring theme of Thor storming in on Loki when he's in bed with some lovely lady, and then beating the hell out of him or at the very least threatening him. LOL

This. Needs. To. Happen. (maybe not the beating up so much, but the Loki in bed with lovely lady part... yes. )

Actually the last time I overheated it was quite a mess...had the citizens of Japan quite bothered in fact what with almost destroying the Earth with my nuclear meltdown and all.

I'm tempted to write lyrics to Robert Palmer's song but change it to
"might as well face it, you're addicted to Tom..."
but I'm afraid if I do that then men in white coats might show up at my doorstep holding a jacket for me with sleeves that tie in the back. So, I'll just share this video instead.... Just picture instead of girls with black hair and black dresses, a bunch of Lokis as the back up band. (but with MUCH better rhythm! )

I'm getting myself prepared for the big premiere right now with the military being my entourage more or less. I hope they don't start shooting at me until after I've watched my movie at least.

But seriously...this movie has Tommy Wiseau listed as one of the main actors on IMDB. With that I do not have high hopes for it. With that "talent" in the cast it'll make the 1998 Godzilla look like Shakespeare. I'm expecting Tommy to be playing football in an alley wearing a tux saying "Oh hai Godzilla." as he's passing the ball to the Big G. Plus one of the Executive producers is known for making one of the trippiest Godzilla movies ever, Godzilla vs. Hedora. While Hedora was a good monster concept, monster made from pollution and toxic sludge, the movie itself is one of the weirdest Godzilla movies ever, second only to Revenge of Godzilla in terms of strangeness. Toho should have stuck with the Millenium Godzilla. I want my Godzilla 1954 vs. Modern Godzilla movie they teased us with at the end of Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. dammit! Or hey, why can't Toho finally make that Godzilla vs. Bagan movie?

I fully admit that I currently have 3 actors on my 'pedastal of fangirlism' (all 3 bred from the UK at that - seriously need to think about moving there *lol*)...Hiddleston, Cumberbatch and Armitage... I have to say, Armitage has been rapidly creeping up on Hiddleston's top position

I'm thinking I better get some new Loki pics soon or else he's going to be dethroned by a sexy badass dwarf prince (or a tall stern cotton mill master, depending on which role of his I like better on a given day - seriously, I can't stop watching BBC's North & South miniseries - the kiss at the train-station? ) *lol*

Ah hah...you got the fever for the flavor of Dwarf Prince do you now? Yes, Mr. Armitage plays a very sexy Dwarf along with Kili there. Two very very sexy dwarves...quick, quick Loki's losing his army to girls who would follow Thorin all the way to Erebor!!!!

Well, despite not having seen him in any current movies (That is until the second part of the Hobbit movies.) I still like Orlando Bloom, especially as Legolas, as fantasy fodder of course. His natural hair and eye color aren't all that bad either. His wife Miranda Kerr is a very very lucky Aussie. Their kid must be absolutely adorable! It's currently a toss up between he and Tom Hiddleston for brain space. Oh and David Wenham as Faramir and Karl Urban as Eomer are pretty easy on the eyes as well.

I don't really get the Thorki thing, I mean they are BROTHERS. Geeze. I know adopted but still, treating it like Loki being adopted makes the idea of incest null and void is REALLY pretty awful. Not to mention, that I find it sort of annoying that two men can't feel anything for each other without some making it into being about sex. It's bad enough that gets done so often with male-female relationships that are truly about a strong platonic or familial type affection, and not at all meant to be sexual. But all the guys now too? Sheesh. Even raised as brothers they aren't safe from it. Some people have to make it all about sex.

I dislike the Thorki thing, too. It's incest to me even though Loki was adopted. What some fans see as romantic attraction and affection between the two characters is simply the intensity of their feelings in tense situations. There are different kinds of love; brotherly love does exist and has nothing to do with romance, as much as some mistake the two.

Tumblr often has that in porn images really, it's like going through a mine field to look up Loki or Thor there, unfortunately. Not only porn but some porn plus torture/rape images are really really disturbing and show up every so often. I'm always blocking that crap. and it's not just that it's two men either. Definitely not my thing but not my point either. I used to get just as irritated when I was watching Buffy and people would write fan fic shipping Giles and Buffy. I mean really! He's practically her father! sheesh! It's like some people don't understand that not all love and affection shown by these characters is sexual - whether it be a man and a woman or the same sex.

Tumblr has a variety of fan-related stuff on it. I use Tumblr Savior to block posts I dislike -- gory Walking Dead images are my absolute limit -- but people have the right to post whatever they want. The Thor/Loki shipping annoyed me at first, but there are worse things to worry about in the real world so I don't even pay much attention to it now. In fact, there are things in the comics that are just as bad or worse, including several instances of incest (most infamously Wands & Pietro in Ultimates).

yeah, I figure nothing I can do to stop it so I just block it, whatever it is, if I don't like it and then hopefully I won't have to see it again (at least not from that particular poster!) LOL

But back to Loki-Frigga, I hope she gets some significant scenes with her adopted son, that they DON'T cut out of it... almost more than I'm hoping for more Loki-Odin scenes.

Yeah! of course that Loki-Frigga scene I want in I think has to be moved to fit in properly but aside from that.

I think the big set out in April will supposedly have additional deleted scenes for each film. Hope it's true!
