lol Well I kept a promise to my kids that I wouldn't because they were SUPPOSED to get them for me for Xmas. I'll probably buy them this weekend, since it looks like they won't be getting them soon. lol

There is NO WAY Hunger games was better than Bats or Avengers. At least RDJ got a couple awards at the people's choice, and Scarjo was nominated for her Widow part

lol I've watched the misc versions like digital download other than the bluray and dvd versions too. Avengers was the only thing portable enough basically just my laptop at work (12 hour shifts can be long without the right entertainment. lol)

I really feel that it should win. I did not see Life of PI but most of the other ones and ILM's work with the Hulk and all the other effects were outstanding. ILM always pushes the envelope but most likely The Hobbit will win. The effects for that movie were good but not great IMO but I also feel that the academy really prefers Jackson and will snub ILM because they dont like George Lucas for some reason. Just my personal feeling.

I would be more confident of Avengers chances if i hadn't seen Life of Pi. Thats a goddamned beautiful movie. Its got the cinematography award on lockdown imo and the CGI on Richard Parker is flawless.

It stands no chance at winning. I don't think it even deserved a nomination. Sure the Hulk looked great but there are so many poor cg shots in the film that are inexcusable

I could see Life of Pi winning it, but you've got to be joking that it doesn't deserve a nomination. The Hulk alone was spectacular, but there were several scenes like IM repairing the turbine, Thor and IM fight, or the single fight shot that ran through every team member that were spectacular.

Not sure where to put this, or if it has already been brought up, but it seems Coulson isn't dead after all.
