Take this topic as a game with four rules, if you want it. With the following:

Rule 3: The list must cover this timeslot: 2014-2022, as the tittle says.
Rule 4: your list must include both XMen and F4 movies.

About rule 2, I mean, of course you can discuss someone else vission/list first lol, but the main reason of this topic is to share as many lists as possible, and a bit less discussion, to make it a bit funnier

about rule 4, since Fox owns two Marvel properties, this is a key factor, since this leads to Foxs money and budgets for these adaptations, so we should think about how Fox could handle the sequels to both franchises during upcoming years, will they alternate franchises each year? or that could change?... so lets think about that.

We have already discussed all the possibilities, First Class sequels, X4 and 5, x-men spin-offs, a crossover with two franchises..... so dont miss any of these possibilities.

And of course, lets take into account ALL factors: money, actors, casts, time gap, competition, passage of time...... all of it.

Think about all of this taking your time, and once you elaborate your list, share it with all of us, while enjoying other users vission.

Basically I just want FOX to focus on the original X-Men series (I don't want spin-offs and prequels anymore) and the new Fantastic Four movie series. For the casual audience, its easy to follow.

but if I was on Fox, I'd push for it, for sure. This is the right moment to get the original cast, if they dont do it now, they will waste such a huge opportunity.

X4 and X5 directed by Singer back to back would be ****ing epic and such a gift to x-men fans. I hoooooooope at least they are discussing it

You do realize that

a:To have Cyclops lead X-Men film you eather have to have time travel undo the Last Stand to resurrect him at end or jump to 1980's and already have a prequel lineup of hi,Jean,storm,and maybe beast
B:a big part of age of apocalpse Is trying to restore the timeline
C:To have Silver surfer solo film you have to put him In a FF sequel first

Uncanny X-Force sounds like It was after I quit getting marvel comics In 2005 due to Quesda regime so I don't know what kind of timeline or what Dark Angel Is.

Its 616 and AOA. X Men comics are great right now.

A. I expect Cyclops to be fixed at the end of DOFP in some way.
B. In no way do I think an AOA movie wil be comic accurate. Not saying thinngs will or wont happen but Im sure Alt universes will be a huge part of Future X Films.
C. I disagree 100% about SS.

Cyclops back as team leader, Wolverine or Cable led X Force Film and a Silver Surfer Solo should be all part of Foxs schedule in the next 10 years. If not, then they still dont give a ****.

The list is just what I want to see. Until I know how DOFP ends its all guessing with no evidence on what may happen at this point X Men wise.

I like that most of us are already breaking the three years gap between x-men sequels, I think if Fox wants to keep using both casts, they should really do it, because if they wait three more years for X4 and three more for X5, the age factor could make them to stop using the original cast before an actual X5, when they could easily shot them back to back and to realease them in two years, like the Hobbit, or Twilight final parts.

With the FC cast they dont have age problem, since in this case it would be a positive factor, to move on to another decade with a more realistic look for the actors.

I think the very next movie after DOFP should be X4, for sure. But if they dont do it now, they would have missed the PERFECT moment to do it, and they could not do it ever.

I dont think Fox will come close to what I put down, just what I want to see. Until I know how DOFP ends its all guessing with no evidence on what may happen at this point X Men wise.

After what you posted I looked up Uncanny X-Force.It would be opportunity for me wolverine.It would be Intresting to actuully put Deadpool on a X Team.

The best way to AoA on screen would be time traveler returns to future at end of DOFP to discover the future with sentinles has been prevented but now an age of Apocaypse has come.That gives you another film of showing this alternate world and time traveler(In place of Bishop) trying to restore
the timeline.One change will be No magneto.I am fairly certin Ian Mckellen's last film as Magneto will be DOFP.Now Patrick Stewert could do more after DOFP since Xavier Is In Wheelcahir.And possabilty could be Cyclops In place of Magneto as leader of aoa X-Men

A Silver srfer solo film could focus on his origin,and time before they would do a new Galactus arrival on Earth.

Once more details are known about DOFP It will be easier to specuate.

I think FOX has the balls to do it. The gap between the first 2 Fantastic Four films was just 2 years and the gap between Origins/First Class and First Class/TheWolverine are 2 years too. The issue with FOX is they really want to make spin-off movies after X3 and thats why we got Origins/FirstClass/TheWolverine instead of X-Men 4.

you made a good point with the F4 time gap, I didnt remember that.

And Sony is doing it too with Amazing Spiderman reboot, so....

why Fox cant do it?

Like I said the gap between Origins: Wolverine/First Class was just two years and the gap between First Class and The Wolverine is two years too. FOX can absolutely it. They probably gave X2/X3/Origins a three years gap just because they wanted to take more time for the development of the movies and the gap always worked for them. They probably lessen the gap now because they want to make more X-Men movies.

Besides Norrin, Shala and Galactus I havnt really given it much thought. I would think most the film would be on his planet. Probably are limited to characters due to all the properties Marvel holds. I guess One Surfer movie and then a Surfer/Galactus/Fantastic Four mash up would work the best.

Case in point: the gap between The Wolverine and DOFP is one year.

I don't think they own Annihilus, but I think they own Skrulls. Didn't Wheedon say they couldn't use Skrulls in the Avengers because Fox owned them?

Also, Fox would be able to use Frankie Raye who had Human Torch-like powers and was transformed into a herald of Galactus, taking the name Nova and wielding cosmic powers. They might also be able to add Binary into the mix (but probably couldn't reference her Carol Danvers identity), and maybe even the Starjammers and Shi'ar (as chances of seeing those in the X-Men films seem slim).

There are also all the other heralds of Galactus. And, if they'd done Phoenix like the comics as a cosmic entity, there would even be chance to bring her in.

I'm still thinking about that one. I've been ill this week with a cold/flu virus - but I still went to work every day. That means work has taken more out of me than usual, leaving no energy for much creative stuff like my blog or your lists!!!

Fox and Disney share skrulls with Fox owning Super skrull.I believe characters that are mostly FF characters are with Fox.Disney owns the Inhumans,The Black Panther,and Sub-Mariner.Marvel has rights to android Human torch and in theory could have used him If they wanted to use the Invaders In Captain America.Doing frightful four IN FF would hard since Medusa Is at Disney and Sandman Is at Sony.

I think so, but I also thought they said they didnt want the Skrulls to have such a minimal part in Avengers so they used Chitari instead and that they could use Skrulls in the future. Not to sure...

I wonder if the Nova name would cause conflict with Marvel.

Never thought about introducing the Shiar in a Surfer film but that would actually be a good introduction to the Fox world and allow it to maybe move into X Men later.

supposedly Bryan had them in his version of X3, but who knows if Fox will adapt them one day or not

Id love to see the x-men move to the space. to see the whole team on the gallaxy in their uniforms and meeting other races would be EPIC.

we'll probably have to wait more than a decade for that

Yeah it would be pretty friggen rad. At first I never liked the idea of a FF/X Men shared universe but maybe it can be a good way to move to the more cosmic stuff. Really want to see them go with some more Sci fi stuff. DOFP is a good step forward.
