I'n greatly hoping for Carol as well, I think a solo Black Widow film would be a neat idea. But I dunno if she could do a movie alone.

Plus, it's not like Black Widow is lacking for ideas or plotpoints, there's fifty years of plots and it could easily be an espionage or spy thriller like mission: impossible or Bourne.

It would be AWESOME and NEEDS to happen!

Not related to the Black Widow, but I got to see Scarlett Johansson in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Broadway this week and she was wonderful. The accent wasn't always perfect but she was expressive and emotional and so beautiful. Such an incredible play.

I'm not sure I'd want an entirely solo Black Widow film, just as I wouldn't want a Hawkeye solo, but a teamup of the two would be amazing! It wouldn't have to be this big special effects extravaganza like the other films. a spy thriller type would be awesome.

I like the idea too. I would like to see Black Widow get a prominent solo film role. I've enjoyed all her appearances. The two non powered members of the team who have a connection with one another teaming up would be fun.

That's not the one. She had several costume changes back in the day, but one was with her with in a dress and a fur scarf-thing (don't know what women call those things they lay across their shoulders). The image of her in the Avengers you posted is after she took that scarf or whatever it is off. Check this out at 1:46, 1:59, and 2:21.
