There have been people on the internet who saw that cover and wrote blog posts about it, as though the cover implied he would be in the movie. Not sure I'd call that "rumors"

Those new costumes are pretty lazy design on McNiven's part

Hopefully they go back to the old costumes within a couple issues

between this, the weird Iron Man space suit, Opena's overly busy Cap costume, and the death metal Thor outfit, the MarvelNOW costumes are lazy and ugly.

Only the new Uncanny X-Force seems to have made out well in the redesign
and even those feel a little too flashy and modern for me

Didn't Scott Porter says he would like to play Star Lord??

I think he will be a good fit. He has been passed over for a lot of Marvel roles.

After seeing Gosling in Gangster Squad, i do think he'd fit it even if he don't want the role.

I like Gosling, but it seems futile to keep pining for him to get these roles. I'd rather discuss the merits of actors who seem interested in these parts. Personally, if Gosling doesn't want to do superhero movies then that suggests that he feels above them which would be a big negative for me.

He was campaigning for Nova last I heard. He'd actually be a good fot there IMO.

My current cast would be something like this

Star Lord-James Marsden he was on the list and we've not heard anything one way or the other on him and no mention of him in DoFP as far as I know and he was my initial favorite.

Drax-Most fan casts have 1 of 4 choices here, The Rock, Joe M, Vin, or Momoa. I'd be fine with any of them but I want to go a little different here so how about Terry Crews?

Thanos-prosthetics enhanced by cgi ala Hellboy not sure who but I'd put a "name" to add star power alothough whenever I read Thanos I always imagined a voice similar to Goliath from Gargoyles
