WB said to themselves, we haven't revealed zod yet what do we do, why don't we just give them a random shot from the shoulders up in the first theatrical trailer.

And guess what, we don't care if it's a random shot, let's just give it to them.Nobody will know where or what his is doing in the shot.

If I was to guess I'd say they're still finalizing his look and just giving it touch-ups in every scene. Remember his suit is full-cgi which is going to stand out amongst the real-life sets if not done right.

I wonder it Zod learned Chinese too. He does want to dominate Earth. A significant portion of which is China.

So any guesses on how long this dry spell is going to last for us? I'm hoping that this dryness of no spoilers/pictures for a month's worth is the last one before the film is released.

I wonder how they'll explain why Kal-El, Zod and Faora are the only ones to survive Krypton's destruction. In a recent comic, they showed Jor-El explain to an assistant that he could only send Kal because the ship had to be really, really small in order to be fast enough to break free of an intense gravitational pull. But if that's the case in the new film, then how could Zod and Faora escape in a much larger ship?

They'll probably have done a different explanation to that.

Why is space travel banned on Krypton anyways? Besides the obvious narrative need for it to explain why everyone died and no one survived the explosion of Krypton? Or is no other reason? Are Kryptonians xenophobic or something?

Might be destroyed for anybody knew what was going to happen. Maybe Zod wil destroy the planet and the only person will have warning will be Jor-El, who manages to Get Kal-El away in time.

Zod might even be searching for Kal-El, that's why they come to Earth.

It would seem that the destruction of Krypton had more than likely something to do with the civil war being fought. Perhaps the anti-gravity weapon is the doomsday device.

Who are the two sides of the war? Jor-El sided with the council? Zod fighting for independence? North vs South? Has war ever been portrayed on Krypton?

Is that a landscape style poster or is that on one of those televisions?

I've seen the teaser poster as above multiple times in the theater and the Superman in Cuffs poster once.

My local theater always have two framed movie posters right when you come in and it's usually reversed for two highly anticipated films. As of right now they have Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel.

Some lunatic Kryptonian shot up a planet. The only right response was to then ban space travel.
