how is astonishing x-men right now? I think the roster looks fantastic but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

Kinda slow with the whole wedding thing, but Liu's characters are pretty nicely written, very natural sounding (outside of Warbird being a fundamentalist christian, apparently). The upcoming story focusing on Karma seems interesting...
Basically, It's ok right now, but could get good soon

Yeah, i'd say it been "ok" so far as well. The Northstar/Kyle stuff i'd say is the weakest thing in the book, it's rather longwinded and melodramatic and unfortunatley it's been the main focus. I kinda wish the book was bi monthly so that it got it of the way quicker.

Outside of that, the interactions between the rest of the cast whilst breif, has been fun. It feels like the book has been treading water, and hopefully now that the wedding is out of the way we'll see the rest of the (pretty awesome) cast.

I actually like it. Yes there are problems with it but I like we see Gambit, Karma, Dr Reyes even Iceman who even when in other comics were under used being used when needed and rotated in the proper way.

eh. the book would be more interesting without wolverine...and karma...bring in marrow and sentinel..or would that be too many females on one team?
