Yeah, I can't help but feel that by "Hollywoodizing" The Iceman as they seem to have done based on that trailer, they've removed what made him such a chilling and unforgettable character in real life. That was one sick dude.

He look to much like Terence stamp in this picture.So yea i'm glad he only have chain hair in MOS.Glad they didn't go with the full beard.It's a new version so of course.

So I did some research on the real Iceman and yeah, he was a monster. No doubt they'll humanize him in the movie with the whole family man angle. In real life apparently, mobsters and gangsters who were asked to describe him said he was a serial killer who would stalk people and kill them as practice on his downtime between paying contracts. They also say he killed as many people for imagined slights or perceived disrespect or for apparently little or no reason at all as he killed for money.

On a side note, does anyone mind hearing Shannon utter the iconic line, " Kneel before Zod."? My friends are split over this question, but I wouldn't mind.

Maybe he can just say "Kneel!" No wait... Loki already did that in Avengers. Oh well, doesn't really matter, Zod will likely have way a bunch of other cool lines anyways. I've always said that I really hope we get some very quotable dialog from this movie. I especially hope that's true with Zod.

If you look at Batman Begins, Ras has some of the best lines and most quotable dialog of any movie, comic book or otherwise. Not only that, but those same quotes we all know and love give tremendous insight into who Ras al Ghul is and what his motivations are, his philosophy, Ect. This is what I want for MOS main baddie, Zod. Fingers crossed.

I'm pretty sure the line is still in the movie, it just wont be Zod who says it, probably Faora while Zod is gloating lol

The shot of Superman thrown to his knees whilst coughing up blood with (presumably) Zod's boot in the shot seems like too good an opportunity to waste. They worked in 'I will break you' for Bane in TDKR, I wouldn't be surprised if 'Kneel before Zod' was worked in in some way, maybe said by Faora as Joseph said.

Maybe he'll say some variation of it. In For Tomorrow, before you find out that Zod is the villain, he says something like "Superman will be the one to kneel before me." That was cool how they worked it in because it was a direct clue that it was Zod talking, but it flew right over my head when I read it. Then when Zod was revealed in the next issue, I was like, "D'OH!"

Funny that Zod had a goatee in the trailer but in some of the candid set photos he has nothing.

I don't know if it's been discussed, but one could identify Zod's emblem as the old version of the letter "z", which is basically a slightly modified "3"

It doesn't look like a 3 though. And Kryptonians are aliens, so they would likely have their own linguistics -- their own unique interpretation of what we recognize as the letter Z. Hell.. some cultures on our own planet have VERY different symbols. I just googled the letter Z in Chinese, for example >> 贼德

yes but the thing is, the symbol ends at the shield design, it does not continue. They very well could have had the same idea as you with the "3", but the end result is not it.
