here it is from MTV. Yes. It sounds like it is a possibility that he WILL be in Cap 2, actually, it sounds like they have talked to him about it but the script isnt' finalized and he's not sure yet.

They're two and a half months away from shooting, though.

At this stage, they most definitely have a shooting script. They're well past the point of deciding which characters to include and into the concept/design phase. Anthony Mackie has read the script, and has even seen his costume for the movie.

likely if he's in it it's only a scene or two, and not something crucial. I hope he is, I like him (the actor, and wouldn't mind seeing the character again either)

....Who, Falcon? He's a MAJOR player in this movie. He's Cap's right hand man.

More news about Cap keeps coming in, over at The Site Which Cannot Be Named. It features recent interviews with Sebastian Stan and ScarJo, who are very excited about reprising their roles in CATWS. ScarJo sounds especially happy about getting back into the catsuit.

Don't know if anyone else has seen images or the show, but I just saw Sebastian Stan in Picnic on Broadway last week. The guy has lost a lot of body fat and is in damn good shape. Does a great job in the show too.

They still haven't announced who the second villain is have they?

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Josh Holloway's names came up in the casting rumors for villains but besides Frank Grillo landing Crossbones we haven't heard nothing on who the other villain might be and who is playing him.

I could see Czech actor Karel Roden (Hellboy, The Borne Supremacy, Blade 2) playing a Cap villain. Perhaps he could play Baron Heinrich Zemo.

Bruno Ganz from Downfall and The Unknown would make a great Baron Zon Strucker too.

Just too bad Hugo Weaving was so sour on being Red Skull. Would've liked to see him come back.

Casting news seems to have completely stopped since we last found out that Frank Grillo and Anthony Mackie were added. With filming starting in about 2.5 months, it's kind of odd that they wouldn't give whoever they are going to hire some heads-up so they could do whatever type of training they need for their role.

They probably have; they just haven't released that info to the public yet.

We posted photos of Stan in Picnic on one of these threads a few days ago. He definitely has gotten himself into terrific shape.

So Joe Cunningham of HeyUGuys just talked to Toby Jones on the red carpet Critics Circle Awards and Jones confirmed he got the call from Marvel that his back for Cap 2.

the rumor was Marvel was looking to fill a role of a foreign villain as well...that went alongside that Crossbones was the American villain they were casting..Frank Grillo took that role but seems like that other villain hasn't been cast just yet.. perhaps Strucker or Zemo..



good to hear Toby is back.. they kept hinting a couple of times about his robot body let's hope ends up with one in the sequel..

I'd prefer Zemo, although if I am honest, I wouldn't mind seeing them both. Strucker could have more of a supporting role this time round with Zemo in the lead. Should they be Barons though?
