Are we even getting a Blu-Ray? I'd hate to watch top-quality animation on DVD.

Also -- would The Promise be hard to read for someone who hasnt seen alot of ATLA?

Um...Yeah. It probably would. There's a recap of the overall plot of ATLA but it doesn't really carry as much weight as watching the series. You get a better feel for the characters in The Promise if you've seen the series. Sokka, for example might come off as extremely lame and goofy in the comic but had you seen him in the series, you'd probably appreciate the humor better.

If they work on Season 2 and 3 back to back then at least the wait between those two shouldnt be so far away from each other.

That would be wonderful if it happens that way.

The lack of news of Korra might also be part of Nick's marketting plan to put more focus on TMNT. I enjoy that show but its no LoK. TMNT makes more sense for them to promote the hell out of for now because it is a merchandise heavy franchise with a lot of revenue to be made. LoK is more like a labor of love type show.

Yeah focus is all about TMNT which actually turned out to be a good show.

When is the show scheduled to come back, after TMNT?

If Nick did an Avatar, Kung Fu Panda, and TMNT block that would be a nice look.

edit: Also bring back Wolverine and the X-Men. Also, does anyone think that they should do another Avatar spinoff where they show stories of the past avatars.

What if they did a mini-series or something from way back when people first discovered bending?

I wouldn't mind that either. Anything that gives us more Avatar lol.

What if they were shorts the way DC does on CN?

Shorts would be kind of cool, actually. A good chance to show off flashy bending. I love the recent DC shorts. Btw, I'm typing this while watching Last Airbender on Nick.

Poor Nickelodeon, having to air The Last Airbender movie. Twice in a row.

I would love a prequel series about the first avatar.

I was going to wait to post this but since this is a hot topic I thought I might as well.

I've written my own Avatar story. It takes place after Korra and focuses on the new Earthbender Avatar. I've completed Book One and Book Two will be finished this weekend. I'm also having concept art done of the main characters so I hope to post that soon.

Here is the link, I hope you enjoy Avatar: Spirit of Earth

P.S please let me know if any of the links don't work. Thanks.

Not to sound arrogant, but they'd be better off airing the video review of TLA I did a few years back. It's almost as long and funny on purpose.

That would be excellent. But the news and rumors have been slightly more muffled. I'm not sure if this is mainly due to Nick not being very forthcoming or the Avatar-fandom not being very sure if they care...I hope its the former.

Yes, it would be interesting to see how people would react to him. Some would probably be jealous and cast him out while others might be afraid of his powers.
