You know i've been trying to find a gif/wallpaper thread for Star Wars so I can dump everything in there but no luck.

Oh and Drew coming back for artwork? Yes please! I may have problems...lots of problems with the prequels, but his posters are always incredible.

Hmm... so does this give us a slight idea that Disney still is keeping the traditions of this franchise?

I say this only because we don't know anything now that Disney is handling this. I mean I'm not expecting radical changes, since they are handling Marvel well. I expect this will be no exception too. One thing's for sure, no 20th Century Fox logo and music that melded perfectly with the opening of these films. I always felt like the logo theme was an extension of the music.

They can still do that with a specialized Disney logo like they did with Tron Legacy but yeah, the drums will be missed.

Negative. The theme cannot start playing until you see the Star Wars logo.

It will probably be some sort of Star Wars related sound effect piece.

I wish Struzan did posters for every movie...ever. He always makes a poster that doesn't look like a awful photoshop job...

I think Disney is going to keep alot of the traditions while having something new.

I could see a quiet Disney logo then a lightsaber with sound quickly forms around the logo. Dat lightsaber is iconic! I wouldn't mind the mesh of noise in the Clone Wars 2003 cartoon be heard during or for the logo.

Movie posters haven't been awesome since he retired. It would be nice to see him back for this.

The only thing I could see is maybe having the Disney castle's tallest spire turn into a lightsaber or just have it zoom upwards into darkness.

Frankly the best thing to do would be to just not have it do anything and just fade into the Lucasfilm logo and just go from there.

So what do you guys thinks Troopers will look like? While I don't mind Stormtroopers still being used like in the Legacy comics, I kind of want the new trilogy to continue the evolution of canon fodder troopers.
