I love what they've done with Sinestro. Ron Perlman is perfect as him; he's probably my favorite voice actor for the character. The way he dispatched the prisoner in the end was brilliant. Excellent foreshadowing.

So how did the Blue Lanterns get their powers on this show again? Also, when did the one guardian get fired or quit?

Sinestro was awesome on this episode. Can't wait see the confrontation between him and Hal.

Sinestro corps coming soon perhaps?

^^ It was shown that guardian Ganthet was expelled in the early episodes, origin of Blue lantern -Saint Walker was also shown in first half of season one.

I am waiting for Larfleeze to show up.

For real. Although, now that I have his voice actually attached to his body regularly in Sons of Anarchy, I keep thinking of the voice as Clay's rather than Perlman's. I was half-expecting Sinestro to create a motorcycle construct.

Decent episode, a big turning point obviously for some characters, it'll be interesting to see who they bring in too replace.

still didnt get me really excited though, last episode with sinestro i found to be way more entertaining.

Unlike many other shows on kid-centric networks, GLTAS seems to understand that part of its audience is teens and adults. It isn't the oft-used formula of "good guy beats bad guy and takes them to jail" each week. Not only do we get long-running themes, but some of them are tragic and morally complex.

I agree about the end of the show with Razer and Aya. That was rough.

Being an AI construct, I'm feeling there has got to be a way. Despite knowing there's an adult fanbase, I don't think they'll leave it as is. I'm glad they want to give some weight and show this thing has real consequences, but I wish maybe they'd have taken out Razer instead.

I have to say, GLTAS is a really interesting series. It never held my attention until Sinestro showed up. Now, tragedy strikes the next week. Wow! Really good episode.

Didn't they already do that though or am I mistaken? I'm sure they will bring her back. I wonder if they will find a way to bring her back as a synthetic somehow?

I think the show is getting more creative with the constructs. It's fun just seeing what the creators are coming up with.

The one thing that bothers me about the show is some of the inconsistencies regarding power use. One moment Hal and Kilowog are struggling to bring down a Manhunter, and the next they're ripping through them like hot knives through butter.
