hunger games would have probably be wrapped up by then, who knows where they're going with x-men, i haven't been paying much attention to that. i don't think the oscar thing would make her all stuffy about doing fantastical films like cbms.

besides, she's really young and probably gonna be around for a while so who's to say. personally, i think she's the one to bet on depending on how long this takes to get off the ground.

Um...why couldn't she be Diana? You can dye her hair.

The idea of casting an A-list actress who can easily fill a main role in a secondary role, just to maintain exact physical standards is ridiculous.

It's just a matter of opinion Kang, that's all. Jennifer looks more like Supergirl/Power Girl/Power Woman than Wonder Woman to me.

I said before that I never saw her as Diana........I replied to you about that........and I was trying to suggest a role for her to keep her attached to the film if she wouldn't be cast as Wonder Woman (which she is 100% not going to be).

Also I never mentioned anything about "physical standards" and the whole hair thing.....this is to a few of you guys talking about it, I dont give a **** if she can dye her hair to be the correct color, thats not why I mentioned it, I was saying in that picture she has Cheetah type hair (or atleast color scheme). She also looks kinda feline in that pic which would also help in the Cheetah role.

the only problem with j-law as wondy is j-law's current gig with the x-men. otherwise, there isn't anyone else better suited for the role. wb would kill to have her. none of these no name actresses are gonna sell this movie the way she can. and given her break up with beast, I'm not so sure she's running back to that role.

2-3 years from now, everyone is gonna be on her dick to play wondy.

i think many people's problem mine included is she still looks like a girl she is easily passing off as a 16 year old katniss

girls like blunt,atwell,gemma,etc. look like grown women

not once did i think she was 16 during the hunger games. she might have been playing a character that was that age, but she looked older then that to me. especially with her mothering of her little sister. i love cohan and arterton is my fav at the moment. but cohan is cheeky and aterton is kinda young looking as well. so i don't really get that pov.

really, we have to use our imaginations some. most of us haven't got a clue when this is happening.

Reynolds was still attached to Deadpool when he made Green Lantern. She might be able to do both.

Her shooting schedule is really tight, and Justice League would be really hard to squeeze in, but if she pulled it off, it would give her a new franchise after Hunger Games and X-Men ended. WB would give her at least 15, possibly 20 million reasons to done the costume each time.

I think people just automatically go "EWWW X-MEN", "EWW HUNGER GAMES!" "EWWWW I GREW UP THINKING WONDER WOMAN WAS 35!!!" without sitting and thinking about how great she would be in the role.

I just feel like you're counting her out because she didn't look exactly like Wonder Woman, which 90% of super hero actors DO NOT look like their counterparts...you have to sacrifice looks a bit to get a certain level of talent.

I don't think I'm exactly stretching by saying that Jennifer Lawrence is one of, if not the most talented actress mentioned in this thread. She also has the height and build, is very beautiful (though not necessarily in the exact same way Wonder Woman is), the star power, and the talent.

As someone who has fronted the necessity of balancing looks with talent, I don't think I'll be able to accept a teenage looking WW- this isn't remotely a pass at her ability to play the part given her talent!

I would be all for Di Caprio as Batman 5-10 years ago. He's getting too old now though.

The stupid thing is many of these choices that are being deemed better than Lawrence are less Amazonian, and have more delicate features...yet they're considered to have the requisite "look."

Let me explain something INCREDIBLY simple to you. If a studio is shelling out $10-15 M to secure Jennifer Lawrence in a role, they're not going to stick her as a C-lister who no one has ever heard of like Power Girl, in lieu of giving the role of Wonder Woman to some TV actress. If they were going to cast Lawrence it would be as Wonder Woman.

Top notch actors are only going to be interested in top notch roles in these films. If any A-list talent approaches this film, it's going to be for three roles: Batman, Wonder Woman, and the villain (who is presumably Darkseid.)

You not wanting Jennifer Lawrence in Wonder Woman is fine, and it's your right to hold that opinion.

Where it becomes a matter of being incorrect is the idea that Jennifer Lawrence would ever sign up to play Power Girl, or Super Girl. A-list actors don't sign up for bit parts and let a Gemma Arterton take the big roles. That's not how movies are actually cast.
