Was wondering if anyone else skips past the Loki's arrival scene and the ensuing chase when watching this at home? I just find it too slow of a start and jump to the next scene with Black Widow and the Russians.

You're not the only one. I just watch the opening logos, then skip right to the Black Widow interrogation scene.

I don't hate the opening scene, but it just moves too slow for me. Even on first viewing. To be honest, it might just be because I was so excited to see the other characters. We already got a lot of Loki in Thor, and I never cared for SLJ as Nick Fury. I know he's based on the Ultimate version...which is based on SLJ, but he didn't even try to embody the character. He just acted like he's been doing for numerous roles in the past number of years. I don't know...I guess I wanted something a bit more exciting.

When it came out in theaters...I didn't think it was slow.

But when it came out on Blu...yes...I noticed fairly quickly...it really is slow...

For those of you who haven't ordered the Box set yet, it appears as though Amazon has dropped the price of the preorder down to $149.49. Not quite as cheap as those who were lucky enough to get on the first round of preorders, but still a great price. As a point of reference, Best Buy has it on their site for $179.99. Now, this item might be worth seeing just how well BB does their new price matching scheme. If I could walk into my local BB and pick it up for the $149 Amazon price, I would do it. Plus, it would give me an excuse to wear my Mk VI Iron Man suit to go pick it up.
