Looks like that thread that began at the licensing expo a while back had accurate information in it. It described Zod's shield as a crescent moon or omega type symbol back then, and looking at the toy, it seems accurate.

Maybe its just me but I get a strong vibe from zod's symbol of the old hammer and sickle emblem from the former soviet union.

Totally BadA$$! That is exactly how I've always wanted to see a live action Superman. He looks like he does in the comics I love. Henry easily pulls off that look they illustrated.

I still think immediately of an Omega. The last letter of the Greek alphabet, and what is the last letter of the English alphabet? Z, the first letter of Zod, and like Superman, is inside his shield.

The hair and chain hair is spot on, The side of it is spot on.He looked big in the set pic we seen and he about 6''4.The face can get a lil better, but beside that it look badass.
