I can't believe anyone would say that she's not attractive, let alone attractive enough for the role of Lois Lane. Every time I come across a degrading post about her looks on these boards; I look at them like this:

And I agree. Amy's performance in this movie is one of my main interests. I'm all aboard her casting and think she'll do a great job.

Agreed; I mean she's the first actress to play Lois where she had such a established career prior towards her casting for the role; I mean, I think it's safe to say that she's had a more famed career than any of the previous actresses who have played the character.

Plus, the fact that she's well liked by the General Audience and has a great fanbase of her own will only help the income/revenue for the film as well, and honestly, I hope that with the potential success of this film, that it'll shut the mouths of those that said that she wasn't right for the role due to her age or hair color or looks; just like how Anne Hathaway silenced her critics on how they didn't think that she'd make a good Catwoman in TDKR.

Exactly right. I'm a big advocate for female characters in movies. Hopefully Amy gets a good portion of screen time because just based on the trailer she looks to have nailed it.

Completely random and maybe it's been speculated before, but... does anyone think that Amy's choice is a bit more age-deliberate than we think? She looks younger than 38, but maybe they're counting on her to look her age later, because they intend to go further with the mythos than we're anticipating? Maybe have many years pass betweens sequels? A Millar-esque thing, where he wanted his trilogy to start in Krypton and end with Superman being the last being alive on Earth?

And to think, that could have potentially been our Superman and Lois there together since I heard that the actor in that film was also in line for the role in MOS.

her and henry work because she looks younger while he looks older it is why it doesn't look like a 8 year age gap
