I think if there was an epilogue to Ant Man in another film, it wouldn't be as near as IM3.

It's reaching back 40 years, but maybe the fact that Thanos, Drax et. al had their comics debut in Iron Man explains the space armor and Tony joining the Guardians in the comic. And maybe there really is something to all of the speculation that the events in the comics foreshadow Iron Man going into space in the film universe.


Man, if this is part of Feige's plan it's brilliant and truly inspired.

You're completely taking what I said out of context. cherokeesam used the idea of Marvel misleading people and using red herrings as reasoning for why RM is likely a red herring, and I replied that Marvel does not do that and mentioned the toy line because that would have to be the red herring/misdirection he is referring to. No, cherokeesam did not say that. In fact, I said *exactly* the opposite. No, Marvel does NOT mislead or misdirect or lie about their characters and plot points (Chitauri notwithstanding; I'm not going to go digging for it, but I *do* remember early on in Avengers speculation that Feige said specifically that the Chitauri wouldn't be there), and I specifically said that Feige and Marvel are *not* like Nolan, M. Night and JJ Abrams, in that respect.

And there is absolutely no proof whatsoever that Dr. Wu is Chen Lu. Feel free to find evidence to the contrary anywhere. That makes it even less likely that there's a Radioactive Man anywhere in IM3.

All people heard was "pale green bad guy with veins," and they went with Radioactive Man. Again, that's ONE possibility. Of many.

Lol i didn't say Ant-Man would have an epilogue. I said the ant-man film will probably have an epilogue feel to it after avengers 2. I think Jan and hank may make an appearance in avenger 2

Personally, I've always thought the prospect of Radioactive Man appearing in IM3 as being pretty random. Especially considering that the that there are already four villains appearing.

I'm betting on "pale green bad guy with veins" being an Extremis-ized Coldbold.

The person over on the boxoffice.com forums who has connections to the Chinese film industry says that Iron Man 3 will have two ads during the Super Bowl, 30 and 60 seconds long. This has to be treated like a rumor at this point but I hope he's right.

The same person also says that a screening of the rough cut of the film is scheduled for Marvel's workers and film officials in Beijing on the 30th. The people who see it will sign confidentiality agreements, of course, but they may leak some reactions.

I don't think it's that random though. Radioactive Man was Mandarin's lackey in Iron Man #179-181. Sure, it was Rhodey in the armour at that time, but still.

I'm not sure if the Chinese viewers will be posting on Twitter, but there are screenings for Disney execs in Burbank and elsewhere coming up this week. There will probably be a deluge of leaks to fansites whenever the screenings are held. It's probably too much to hope that there aren't any hoax posts about the screenings mixed in with the real ones.


I hope someone will post reactions when the test screenings happen, too.

It'll probably be like The Avengers last year w/ the 30 second version being shown on TV w/ the 60 second "extended version" being released online shortly thereafter.

yeah, for me the most exciting part of iron man movies is seeing his new upgrades. shows off his ingenuity and is just kind of awesome lol.
