Good luck for them being able to enforce this. If they bought the phone at wholesale price to use on another carrier, they can do whatever the **** they want. Same goes for even if you buy at a subsidized price. It's yours to own and not a "rental." They can go **** themselves with this.

Add another problem to the books with iPhone 5. iPhones have historically had the best battery life. I'm sure they'll fix this soon.

If these are real, it goes along with a good strategy like other companies have done with color variants. Keep interest by releasing different colors during the six month period, then a year later, 5s. This is the opposite of how I thought they would do the colors, and now makes them look like an iPod touch.

Supposedly they're going to unveil the device next month, but with Samsung, I heard it's still going to be made out of the same thing as the Note II and SIII, so I wouldn't get your hopes up about better material.

Even then, the price point hasn't been announced for the Xperia Z in the US, and it's going to be a high-end device, so it might be on the expensive side compared to the SIV.

i'll be buying with a new contract, so i'm expecting the standard $200 for flagships. hopefully that is the case.

Pfft. The SIV? I'm looking more forward to the Motorola X Phone that Google is developing. It's rumored to have the Kevlar unibody of the Razr, the battery of the Maxx, the Sony Exmor sensor, expandable memory and will run on Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

I don't mind the plastic make. I put all my phones in Otterbox Defender cases anyway.

You use a Defender? I ditched my Commuter after a year (didn't really need it anymore). I always thought the Commuters were more functional unless you do something like construction that involves heavy machinery.

Not a fan of Otterbox, but I do use cases on my phones. Even then, I still don't want the phone feeling cheap. The build of my Bionic makes the SIII look cheap.

I like the belt clip... And that rubbery part of the commuter always seems to collect dust and lint. Plus I work in Lawn & Garden.. I'm up and down a lot and I don't want my phone falling off of me when I'm demoing a tractor.

I do take the built in screen protector off though and put my own on. Those built in ones always Suck.

Well... I was sold on the Note II... Still am. However, after reading about the Xperia Z my interest is peaked. Never had a Sony phone before however... That could change. Again my one and only fear is support. If it's supported well I'm all for it.. I don't want to plunk down cash and then have the support go belly up.

This and the ZL are going to be their flagship, and so I think support will be there. The good news is that they have pushed to put JB on many of their older devices as well.
