This is still my favourite Mystique moment. It's the details like this that Singer was so on point with in the films. He never dropped the ball on detailing his favourite characters. I think that's what bugged me about First Class was JenLaw's voice did not reverb in blue form.

I think Singer will expand on Anna's role for DOFP, I can't see Anna wanting to come back for a cameo slot, they will probably put her and Marsden front and center while Page, Ashmore and others will probably fall back a bit.

Most keep forgetting those powers were taken from MS Marvel.A character
Fox doesn't have rights to.

They are In a no win situation.Some keep wanting waanting them.and others will complain about any changes made.

Rogue's mutation Is absorbing energy Including mutant ability.they can make her more an active character nad no more scared but they should stick to her actual
mutation.

She's a supporting character at best. They wouldn't announce her return if she only doing a cameo scene. And in terms of Star power, Ellen Page and Anna Paquin are equal now.

I didn't forget about Marvel Girl. Rogue could borrow the powers of Storm (flying) and Colossus (super strength) if they are also in the movie.

After 5 seasons of True Blood, I just can't picture Paquin as anything but a stronger more capable Rogue. She really deserves better. The Last Stand was such a slight against the character, even within the film universe. It's time they have more fun with the character.

Ellen Page didn't not win an Oscar or Golden Globes, but she got a nomination too and she is well known for her work in Juno and Inception.

I love Rogue, but I honestly dont see Ellen Page back just for a small role.

Either she is in fact the time traveler or has a pivotal role on the future.

I highly doubt Matthew and Kimberg read the storyarc, then discussed about which characters to use and which not, and just decide to include Kitty as a small role. I really cant see it

Dont know if Singer is changing the screentime of her, tho

Ratner&Co' really undid everything Bryan had built up in X2. It was very disappointing when Bryan has set everything up for Rogue. Even in the original screen play for The Last Stand Rogue was supposed to infiltrate the Brotherhood but instead they gave that to Wolverine.

Just like in X1 they shafted Rogue by switching roles with Wolverine. She was supposed to save him in the original script. I prefer the original script over what was given.

Wow this is news to me! Besides Rogue's role in X1, what were the other things they changed from the original script.

It had Beast as the mansions resident Doctor. That shifted to Jean once the budget prevented Beast's appearance.

She was supposed to be suited up in X1 and there were some of the designs floating around the internet from the production. It was a very cool design too that was different than Famke and Halle's outfits. It looked more armored.

It might be on the X1.5 DVD.
