IM3 sells itself; Iron Man, and any movie with him in it, is still by far the biggest box office draw in Marvel Studios. There's plenty of IM3 trailers and footage to go around already, too, so it's not like some Super Bowl spots are going to sway the undecided.

Thor is the one that's going to need some marketing and promotional boosts. I don't think Thor (or Cap, for that matter) can rely on Avengers carryover audiences alone. Somebody needs to sell that.

It's quite possible he can be a supporting/advising role ala Nick Fury. He's just not on the combat team. He typically had the role in the comics: Infinity Gauntlet in particular.

Sure, anything's possible. Might wind up seeing Mantis or Cosmo or Phyla. I'm hoping for Nova and Carol Danvers, too. But there's a difference between what we *know* and what we *hope.* All Wardell is running on is hope, but he *pretends* it's knowledge.

That still means you are going quite a bit too far to say it is *disproven*. What they are right now, by and large, are rumors with no evidence to prove them.

makes perfect sense for a GOTG teaser at the end of IM3, seeing as they are the new IP of phase 2.

they probably meet tony in space and warn him about an impending threat (thanos most likely)

GOTG itself will be set before IM3. Perhaps the team is on their last legs when they warn Tony, or perhaps they have survived the events of their film and join the team in avengers 2. personally, i reckon they are on death's doorstep; having sacrificed it all to make it to earth to warn the avengers.

hope that deep space armor looks better on film; the toy pics of it look pretty silly.
