I hope the guardians dont join up with the avengers in avengers 2. Unless they came in at the very end or something to help beat thanos. I'd rather have a few new actual avengers. But anyway, this rumor is not too bad. As long as tony doesnt actually join the guardians, i dont mind him meeting up with them. Man, if we got to see rocket raccoon in im3, thatd be so amazing.

Apparently It reveals a suit from IM3.



Could it be the REAL IM3 extremis armor? IMO, it looks like and upgraded version of the Mark XLVII.

The Guardians are going to be in A2, it's just a question of how many. I'd have to say at least Star Lord, Gamora, and Drax would all have to be in it because of their connections to Thanos, and you'd expect Marvel would want to put Rocket Raccoon in as well since he's probably going to be very popular...either way, it's not like the Guardians are going to join the Avengers, they'll just team up with them. That would be pretty cool. Only actual new Avengers I see joining are Falcon and Iron Patriot.

nah it is a different design. look at the chest; it appears to have some kind of harness system keeping it in place.

plus the colours are different to the new gold suit.

could be the suit tony uses whilst on the run. feige said it would be a damaged one.

Posted this in the GOTG forum but ....

Starting to think that Stark does indeed get a signal from space, which leads to his desire to build the space suit and investigate the situation. I can only imagine he was intrigued already by his little adventure up there when he re-directed the missle in Avengers.

just the possiblities of Jan, Ultron, Deep Space Armor, Possible contact from the gotg gang, on top of all the cool stuff that going to happen in the movie (Mandarin!!!, 40+ armors!) gosh I'm so excited! bring on the new trailer!

That could explain why there doesn't appear to be a lot of new names added to the roster in Avengers 2. Like you, I believe for now that Falcon and Rhodey are the only likely two additions. But if they keep the Avengers headcount low, that frees up more story space for the Guardians to take an active role in TA2.

GOTG clues, yes; but with that, I see even *less* chance that there's going to be any hints or clues about Ant-Man in IM3. Which is still way too far out on the release schedule, anyway.

I know you refuse to believe, but there will be at least one pretty big AntMan related clue in IM3, might be one of those "if you arent looking you'll miss it" type things Fiege was talking about in that recent interview.

The reason I'm so "close-minded" towards it is that the theories floating around her are COMPLETELY unrelated to her actual comic book backstory, her personality, her powers, her relationship with Hank Pym and Tony Stark and the Avengers in general.....in short, these cockamamie theories about Janet would reduce her to an INO, and would wreck the hell out of the Hank Pym mythos, which would *severely* damage the throughlines on anything resembling continuity in the Avengers franchise.

Let's not waste time on Janet again here. Let's talk about the point at hand right now, which is space: the final frontier.
