Simply working on our FBI's behalf to spread disinformative. Larry, an ex-CIA guy did the same thing. Started the birther hoax.

My poli-sci professor was COINTELPRO and inflitrated the KKK, but they do it to lots of groups domestically like PETA, the Tea Party, and the Black Panthers most famously.

So yeah, believe what you wish. But you're being taken for a ride.

They do it to keep politicians honest, lol. Or try to use phony blackmail as leverage to get information for cases. The FBI and CIA don't have a lot of friends really.

So, basically COINTELPRO are spies? reminds me of that quote Sam Axe says in Burn Notice that was in the opening intro. I can't recall the exact quote, but Sam (played by Bruce Campell) basically calls spies whiny little *****es. ''You know spies, bunch of *****y little girls'' lol. hilarious quote.

Yeah they are spies, and that's actually not a bad description.

TV gets it backwards, like they are James Bond-ish, getting into women's pants and asserting themselves...

I recall seeing...Jeffery Donovan, the star of the series, saying how a actual spy in the field gives them info...or something to that notion. Kinda cool...the conspiracy theorist in me is like 'ok, who is using a fake name as a exec producer know on the show'. I think the only info this spy gives them is almost all the info on how to make bombs and stuff for the show.

I believe JFK assassination was a conspiracy, but not by our government. I think it was a small group of individuals...Oswald was right to call himself a patsy,he wasn't the only shooter.

What's unnerving about training on American soil? That's usually where American soldiers train. Where else would they train?

Wether they are or not, you still need to train in an urban environment to train in urban combat techniques. Soldiers training off base for techniques ti be used in environments that a base can't simulate isn't new or weird.

I'll say this. When I was in the Army National Guard, we would often train in a local state park. While we were carrying or M16s, due to our potential proximity to civilians, we were not allowed to have any ammunition, live or blank. Hell, we even had to leave the bolts back in the armory!

So, yeah, this puzzles me.
