Thanks. Ok, so I managed to find a few of the sketches and I roughly put them together(I did them during class). They are all very rough doodle/sketches... I will re-do them properly when I have the time :L

Storm(first image): With the school being destroyed and the war against mutants, Storm adopts a new, tough look, in par with her feelings.
Rogue(previous page): When the cure didnt work, she knew she could never run from her destiny. She chose to fight along side her team.
Kitty: Mutant concentration camp uniform, styled to her liking. She sneaks in and out and frees other mutants.
Iceman: After his family abandoned him and with the sentinel attacks, he further mutated with a "defensive" power.

Would someone be able to do a fan manip of Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat in her original yellow-and-blue uniform, using the X-Men: First Class suit as a template?

I did This some time back now, but (in a shameless bit of self promotion) I thought I'd post it now we know some of the original cast are coming back for the new one:



This was a hybrid mix of photo manipulation and digital painting (and a hellova lot of work), and yes, that is the Baxter Building (Sentinel HQ in the original story) in the background.

Would love to see an updated version now that we know more about who is alive and such. But maybe you should wait until all casting announcments are done. Either way, I've always loved it!

For all the talened photo manipulaters on this forum. Could any of you try making manips of the original trilogy cast in the gold and navy blue uniforms from First Class? That would look so cool.

I don't want to see anymore DOFP manips of characters in black leather because Bryan Singer confirmed we will not be seeing them again.

That looks amazing so far! Cannot wait to see what it looks like when its finished. Will the manip only have storm or will you include other characters. Either way I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.

Yes it's far from being halfway completed lol. I can add characters if you like since its still in the beginning stages. Do you have any characters in mind?

I have to place a background and other elements but didn't want you think I forgot

If it isn't too much trouble I'd like to see the actual line-up of the days of future past team from the comic.
Colossus
Wolverine
Kitty Pryde
Magneto
etc

You do not have to add all of them but just choose the ones you think would be easier to do. Can't wait to see what you do with this. You and others on this board have serious talent, hopefully Fox execs might be looking at these and gain inspiration for their posters.

Although I think Fox should just hold a competition for the best posters and the winning posters being used for the marketing campaign. It'd save them heaps of money and they'll have quality posters. Its a win-win.
Anyways can't wait!

From the sounds of it I would not need to alter too much (the status of a few in the poster, like Iceman, Professor X & Storm etc,) and if we get a look at them in set shots or promo stuff then whatever the elder Logan & Kitty are wearing in the future, but that might be all.

Would love to see them emulate that cover in some way in the film though (don't need the background poster, but a Sentinel spotlight on Logan and Kitty in similar poses would be great to see).

It kind of hurts my heart to know that Storm may not be in this movie, she has so much potential.
