Dark Knight was okay this week but I'm not sure if I'm keen on the darker eye gouging take in the Mad Hatter
His design here does look funky though Quote:

Hi guys just a quick question about the Owls storylines, in terms of TPB order.
I've bought the Court of Owls, which is the first collection of this storyline, but found both Night of the Owls, and City of the Owls are set to be released. Am I right in thinking that Night collects all of the tie ins, so is to be read after Court, and then City is the finale in the main Batman title, to be read last? Thanks for your help!

Further, are there any particular tie-in issues that are good enough to make it worth it?

Some might say it would have taken a lot more than the tie in's to make it worth reading

Because those issues do not fall under either the "Court" or "City" parts of the story, but under the "Night" crossover.

Actually, those issues will also be in the City of Owls collection. They're being collected in the Night of the Owls collection as well.

^^You're right, I completely forgot about that.
So, really, you can (and I'd recommend) skip Night. |

Whew! Awesome, thanks a lot guys.
I'm not big on crossovers. I like my Batman stories more intimate. A little Nightwing is fine, but sometimes it gets too crowded. So, good news for me. ![]()

I agree. I don't like boring stuffs. Court was great. Night and City were.... I would rather not talk about Night and City actually...

Those gifs are the best things to come from that story.

Definitely. Snyder shouldn't have been promoted straight to the main Batman title.

I don't think it was a bad idea to promote him, but his current editors definitely should have been more involved in reining in his bad ideas.

You people are wierd. Snyder's Batman's been great.
Anyhow... so I was just surprised. I've stayed with Morrison's Batman run since day one, despite being bored with it since Batman Incorporated first started. I bought up to issue 6 a couple months ago and thought that it just wasn't worth another 6 issues. I didn't pick up 7 and considered the book dropped. And now I realize that I was wrong and that his run ends with issue 8. Really? How the heck can I drop the book 2 issues from the end?! I guess I'll pick those up to conclude the story. Sigh. |
