I'm thinking Kitty might end up being the traveller afterall. Millar said Kitty fans will be pleased by the film. Her power of phasing could easily tie into some time machine maguffin.

So glad Rogue is back, and hope Paquin gets some meaty stuff in this film.

I prefer Paquin to Page. Page, when not playing Kitty, can seem a little butch in her mannerisms sometimes. I'd rather Rogue were the time traveller than just Kitty, or if Kitty is there, that it's the team of Kitty, Rogue and Ice Man.

After mark Millar's latest Interview It seems to me Kitty or Kitty with at least 1 other will be time traveler.

If Kitty wasn't In film Rogue could easily have taken her place.But since they are both In film who knows.My guess Is Rogue stays In future scenes.This could be because they have to work film schedule with Anna Paquin's true Blood schedule.Truue blood has 10 episodes this season not 12.And production started In early January.

I just heard Season 6 of True Blood will be shooting from now until June. Since DOFP begins shooting in April that makes me wonder how much screen time she will get. I hope she gets July-August of filming time. Of course movies are rarely shot in order.

Well James Mcavoy doesn't start work till late may on DOFP.Anna will probally go straight from wrapping true blood straight to X-Men but I think this proves Rogue will only be
In future scenes.Maybe sharing scenes with Iceman as prisoners and taking part In battle
against sentinles.

Ellen's return Ellen didn't have another project lined up.

Even if Anna Paquin only films her scenes in the last few weeks of production, that still doesn't guarantee that she won't appear in the 70s scenes. If Ian McKellen managed to film all of his scenes in 2 weeks, why not Anna Paquin too?

Personally I'd much rather Kitty be the time traveller than, say, Wolverine, but I don't know if they'll give her character what could be one of the most important roles in the film.

that is true i think alot of people have taken what millar said to mean she will be the time traveler, but it indeed could mean anything

As I've said before, there's really no point in Wolverine being the time traveller. There's far more potential for a different character dynamic if Kitty runs into the 70s Wolverine, having just been interacting with modern day Wolverine before. Wolverine would be the equivalent of Doc Brown in BTTF where he's both in the future scenes and 1950s scenes (but in the latter, has to be convinced to help).

If past wolverine was in the 70s bits of the film then he cant meet past Xavier or magneto because that will contradict the first XMen film, unless its when he has bone claws just before losin his memory.

well also unless he goin to have role similar to gambits in origins where he appears briefly with kitty tryin to get his help then returns at end briefly and isnt seen by anyone but kitty but still could be abit of a cop out
