That's awesome, Bond definitely deserved it. I'm not sure where to rank Skyfall, but it's gotta be one of the top 3 Bond films of all time, if not the best.

No, not really. As I have said before I didn't hate TDKR. Not to say that I liked it but it didn't piss me off like TDK did. And while I liked Skyfall, I didn't love it like I loved Casino Royale. So no, I have no reason to break out the back flips here. They're rather hard to do at 291 lbs. anyway.

This is not a disappointing total by any means but I really thought it had a shot at $1 billion from overseas alone.

In ticket sales Sound of Music is the third biggest movie of all time domestically, even bigger than movies like E.T. and Titanic, and Grease beats movies like Avengers and The Dark Knight, so Les Miserables still have a loooong way to go to be in the same league as those movies.

Well, as an Estonian I don't care much what is a "domestic" success in US. I know Sound of Music is in the worldwide top also, and it deserves to be, but I thought the most popular musical that Les Mis is, and such an awesome movie based on it, would achieve similar success... apparently I was wrong.

I get that SOM might have more universal appeal in some sense, but I also guess that people's taste have changed in the last five decade ... I wonder how would SOM do today?
